I got a stock 24v Cummins with a 63mm turbo and one of those big ass intakes, would the boost fooler be worth buying ?
The first thing I recommend getting is gauges in order to find out how much boost your making in the first place. Keep in mind that after about 40psi you should be doing headstuds. Also you can adjust your waste gate to make sure you don't go over 40psi. I don't think that getting the boost fooler is worth it until you know what your base line level of boost is with that turbo. If you plan on buying a tuner they also usually come with boost foolers so you have to start thinking about what you want to do long term with the truck.

Steven L I love my S&B so much I tell my customers I wouldnt run anything different in any one of my trucks... that being said I got a powerstroke and a cummins lol
The S&B intake is about as good as it gets, I've had one on a 7.3 I used to have, and the Cummins I've got now, had 0 complaints about it on either truck.
I've had an S&B one my 07, 6.7 cummins for about 6 years now. After the efi live program dump I had put into the ecm, the slightest amount of throttle spools the turbo. S&B flows cold air like none other.

Is that the same as the 6637 air filter from Napa? I put one on my 7.3, and it did great. Didn't realize Cummins guys did it, too.
Lol buy a truck save your cash till you can do the correct upgrades I don’t mess to much with the small bore diesels but my cat 3406 in my Pete is pushing 800 hp but my best words of advice is gauges you wanna monitor everything that motor is doing at all times quick cheap half ass upgrades will only do 1 thing for u cost you way more money and time in the long run then if you just be patient save your cash and do it up right lol but that is a pretty sweet hot air intake on that truck 😏

BHAI are shit I had one on my truck and it burned up my turbo bc look it's sucking in the hot air off the turbo and manifold so it defeats the purpose of it be cold air the stock or the after market ones that hook up to the fender to take air from the out side are the best u go cheap you'll have to pay for more later
It's not in a enclosed box so its sucking in hot air not cold it right by the ingen sucking up hot air.

Boost fooler dose work not to add boost on a stock truck but it does stop the feeling my truck had a top speed of 99 before it D fueled put a boost fooler on ran a hundred and ten miles per hour
does your transmission gauge act up at all? mine moves a lot like within mini seconds up and down then itll act fine for a while and stay in one place then itll do it again. Im out of warranty on mine once they hit a year they seem to kinda go down hill from my understanding

Hey I had never heard of the boost fooler before so I took a look at it through the link in the description. I think you may have the wrong item in the link for the second gen 5.9l 24v cummins which is what I have also. The link showed model number 1515936 which is for the 2004.5-2007 5.9L. I think this may be the one for the second gen www.amazon.com/BD-Diesel-Performance-1515931-Electronic/dp/B001H34D8Y and it is model number 1515931. Thanks for the tips though as I just found your channel and will be checking out more vids.

Jay B you obviously don't work on trucks. There's no other place to put the filter on a Cummins unless you make custom piping and that's just a waste and cost way more than a cold air intake.

kyle gauthier I wish my truck would NOT roll coal. All I see is lost power leaving the exhaust. Unless I'm at a meet and am intentionally flooring it before the turbos have time to spool up.

Rolling coal is dumb , unless you have the turbos, valves, pistons etc your asking for trouble dumping a shit load of fuel , that is unless you have deep pockets then have at it lol
TPS delete from DNR customs.. Best $50 you can spend on these trucks..12v for sure not sure if they work on the 24v. Gets rid of that annoying transmission up and down shifting!
