Hey Kyle, one question: Do you ever see any value to checking back the AKd hand where you flop the AQ9 with 2 diamonds in the 3bet pot? If so, what frequency? I'm just curious, because it already seems like a sizeable pot, you have a lot of equity with top pair, the whole board hits you, and you can almost exclusively improve only, and you figure the only way to get money out of middling pairs or whiffs is to look weak? I think the down bet to 100 is the right play, its small enough to keep almost everything around, you can call a raise, and you build the pot. It's honestly most likely what I would have done as well. I guess it depends on how bluff heavy you think the opponent can be on a check back if he whiffed the board completely. Could set up a check raise blank turn that puts him in a tough river spot too. I appreciate any insight, as always thanks for the great content!
Yea I've learned to check back rivers when board pairs. Also that AK diamonds hand I would've definitely 4 bet, and if he jams so be it. I don't mind going all-in preflop with that hand.
that last hand was crazy smh i aint mad at the thin value bet on the river, that was just a cooler smh unless it was an OMC or a super NIT I would have called too
Reminds me of that time I rivered the nut flush draw and semi-bluffed my opponent for value. Kinda risky, but the river card binked my rep range for the bluff shove- and I’m always checking back rivers for protection and deception
Last hand…Yuck! Dead on the turn with nut flush. I’m folding river from a check raise jam, but I’m not a vlogger and have to worry about people gunning for me to make vlog. Sucks.. still my favorite vlogger. Happy holidays!
hey Kyle love the vids. Just one note if caution, The major studios don't like when people use their movies. They do police RUclips for exactly what you're doing. One way you can ensure you don't get violations or demonotized it to not use their content. I know they work well in your videos but one morning you can wake up with a nasty message from RUclips. It's probably not worth flushing away what you've built up over something like that but that's just one person's unsolicited free legal advice. I've seen it happen.
Didn’t want Ax to be able to check back That calls a bet sometimes and missed flush draws looking at 450 stack and 1000+ in pot I do not think bluffs that much as there is very little fold equity besides total missed which some flush draws will be beating anyway.
Hi Kyle, just curious on the number four that you wear around your neck. I’m a big Green Bay Packer fan and I was curious if you took that number because of Brett Favre
Had the same hand a week ago, lost all my chips with the nut flush to a straight flush. It still sucks today. BTW, where did you get that Cinnamorrol? My daughter wants one!
I actually win a ton at Bonita springs Makes it annoying to constantly get losses when the camera is rolling Thank you for the comment 👍 Happy new year 🎊
5 of the first 6 hands you are holding 2 diamonds. Doesn't mean anything but just sayin'... And with the sole exception of the last hand, you had at least one diamond in every hand and there were always a diamond flush draw.
Sometimes things just happen that way Was on 2 different tables and showed my hand at river 3 times with shots of the board. Had a session where I had AA 6 times in 2.5 hours. Saw a guy run QQ into AA 3 times. Same two guys and QQ won all 3 times for 3 buy ins in less than 1 hour. (That was insanely gross) Lots of randomness on poker
Omg the worst card on turn ... I feel u bro... that's some online shit I thought the only hand u beat is him having that same hand but not a str8 flush
@kylefischl6841 true, but that's a few times in a lifetime bad. Oh well at least you got one of them out of the way. Love the vlogs and your game is strong bro.
LOL holy fucking shit , did not expect the straight flush at the end , gg

11:00 he must’ve had QJ of diamonds specifically
It is possible
I appreciate the comment and perspective

Wow, I was thinking that opponent could have the 2♠︎3♠︎. Sick turn card
I thought it on the turn as well.
Then just disregarded it as 50 pre seemed to high for that hand
Well played on 88 hand!!! Maybe a check on river is better because u did say you're calling it off
Didn’t want Ax to be able to check back

1:40...didn't see the rest of hand, but I think you're in troubles. (calling $60 on turn).
pocket AA?? yeah...If it wasn't AA there would've been sets.
Commenting because of the last hand, tough one!
Thank you
I appreciate it
Hi Kyle, just curious on the number four that you wear around your neck. I’m a big Green Bay Packer fan and I was curious if you took that number because of Brett Favre
It was the number I wore when I played football in high school
Family also big Green Bay fan but number was not based on Favre specifically
Had the same hand a week ago, lost all my chips with the nut flush to a straight flush. It still sucks today. BTW, where did you get that Cinnamorrol? My daughter wants one!
It is from build a bear
Thank you for the comment
Come to the hard rock in Tampa. Happy New Year!
Fu
Sorry, but what a GREAT check on the river from the str8 flush guy. Even if you had nothing to call with, his check on the river was gangster.
I have family in Sarasota. One eyed jacks has the most horrendous collection of players I’ve ever seen
Oh Kyle, I know where you’re coming from- I’ve had lots of silent drives home from orange city after a nasty ending. Hope 2024 brings more run good.
Sometimes they just have a better hand 🤷♂️
Good luck to you as well Andy 👍
hope your doing better in bonita springs. chin up bro
I actually win a ton at Bonita springs

happy new year to you as well. thank you for all the great content
Do Lum n Mr Lee still play this game?
Sometimes
Not on this day specially though

Wow that 1st hand he played it well at 1st to trap but should've jammed I actually thought u did well by not jamming
Thank you for the feedback
Jamming gets even Jx to fold some of the time so it would be really hard to get paid by worse

"possibly a disbeliever, possibly wanted to make the video" lmao
I mean called with just a queen. Don’t really know how to justify it 🤷♂️🤷♂️
I almost threw up when I saw him table the Q4 as if it was the nuts 😂
brutal
What a brutal f****** session
It happened to us all sometimes
I am not special or an exception to that 👍
Yes ouchie ouchie!!
Would have been funnier if with the 8s hand instead you said...weve been aggresive with our draws so now we should be aggresive with our nuts
Do something with that hair 😎
Last hand: during analysis I think he’s got 2s3s. Crazy lucky. It’s a very one eyed jacks play, I play there all the time.
Result: NO!!!
Lol people constantly making the min with aces
Dude, you look weird without the hat! =)
That’s why I usually wear one 😂
I don't think calling was bad. Your reasoning was sound.
Bummer
Shoulda checked back akd
Lol nice ak hand to get called by someone that is a looney toon
Brosef🤮🤮🤮
Happens to us all sometimes
