easy fix, fights start on feet. If you sit to your butt... 2 points for takedown. If you're that confident in your guard game and am willing to put yourself 2pts down, then so be it.
Even easier fix: let oppo sit guard with 2 point ahead, if you’re so confident in your passing game. And if you can’t pass/score, you lose by stalling/disengaging/throwing hands for injuring yourself
@@macaluso48 how is that? By trying to engage within the rule set? I’d rather see some technical actual Jiu Jitsu than the sloppy half ass takedowns and spazz scrambles. Kade had no answer for Levi’s guard at CJI. Kade engaged and disengaged the whole time. Kade got frustrated and pulled guard and Levi put so much passing pressure on Kade he stood back up. Kade didn’t pass Levi guard a single time. BJJ is boring it’s not a good spectator sport and never will be.
@@Nicatlotus the rule set is crap to begin with sub only no points slams and open palms aloud then you will see what jiu jitsu is and he's just a super sport guy not my type of jiu jitsu I prefer old school Gracie jiu jitsu basics and heavy pressure passing to shut this new school crap down takedowns is a huge part of jiu jitsu and needs to be trained more often throws and wrestling takedowns keeping it flowing stalling shouldn't be aloud either jiu jitsu today as it is boring yes but could be better
