Wireless charging gives super convenience on a phone this big and heavy. Single handedly one can put the phone on a wireless charging pad but on the other hand you will need both hands to plug in the charger in to the port.
Secondly, its not bad to have both charging methods on a phone. It makes the phone future proof.
Also coming to charging speed, OnePlus could have provided 50W fast wireless charging. Haven't you seen options from Xiaomi and other brands giving super fast speed wireless charging as well.
Also, wireless charging doesn't heat up the battery or the phone much rather it heats up the wireless coil alone.
Also expert researchers have said that fast charging is more harmful than slow charging. So charging up the OnePlus Open device in 55 mins will eventually worn out the battery in less than 2 years whereas slow wireless charging will ensure battery still has good health even after 2 years.
When the world is becoming wireless for most part, OnePlus thinks otherwise.

Bro everythings good but you didn't show the aspect ratio of RUclips videos or of multimedia when phone is unfold. Unlike the oppo folds people say its sqaure so multimedia goes like half of the screen and the remaining part of screen just goes unuse..what about this one?

Waiting for 12. Don't kill it....At least provide a pro and non pro variant..Oppo is using the resources of OnePlus..Never kill the old OnePlus brand. As per leaks everything looks nice. I need wireless charging, IP 68, front 4k, display as per leaks, consistent camera including periscope etc. In 2024 smartphone without front 4k is bullshit. Add some good features in the software part like pixel and Samsung. Never lose your valuable fans and customers..A OnePlus fan..If everything is good as mentioned I'm definitely gonna buy 12.....

@@Cricdaze-te8pg its a foldable not a smartphone its for people who want practicality.. camera wale logo ne iphone hi lena h chahe kuch hojaye.. this more for people who work a lot on their mobile devices. i wanted to a buy foldable for 2 years only going tobuy one plus cuz of the bigger screensize . samsung has been disappointing time and again. plus one plus are way more sturdy and durable then korean counterparts.! i use my phone very rough sometimes ip ratings are way more hyped wireless charging is a compro and hey man its a just a single wire plus battery backup and fast charge makes it way better.

No wireless charging is a big bummer. As I always said OnePlus misses out on key features on their flagships like wireless charging, IP68 rating, etc. This one comes with Periscope zoom lens but other important specs are missing. I will consider Samsung Fold 5 rather.

Wireless charging is simply dumb tbh. 15 W (max) charging is very slow and heats up the phone.
