I know for a fact that merchants sell things at an inflated price about 8x their value, we should have gotten at least a few silver. Could have easily sold it back to a more morbid aristocrat for a gold or two.
If you bring in a wall hanger like that "Knife" for Trade, the merchant knows right away he can sell you pretty much anything. That's just begging to get ripped off, again.

Nah, shoppe keepers are pretty much exclusively early game, in the end game you either have to master blacksmithing or get a courier to deliver legendary weapons from far away lands.
I love Byron Pursebane though. He's roguish yet knowledgable. It's like he's a retired adventurer that actually settled down, opened a shop for things he knew about, and can probably still fight.
But if you had written a script how would you have practiced those role playing and improv skills. Honestly I couldn't tell it was improvised. Well done sir
At some point I started actively listening to his delivery to figure out if it was scripted or not. Some awkward pauses and emergency-sentences (not knowing how to finish a line and resorting to something overwhelmingly simple) gave away that he was either not using a script or occasionally forgetting and improvising lines. Not to throw shade obviously, I'm speaking from experience as a DM. Many moments of "Ugh, did I really just say that when I could have said this...? Welp, too late now."
I feel like this series is missing an "Adventures from the Blade Shoppe" segment or video, with a bunch of short one offs (mostly jokes; I think you want ___ down the street, or someone brings in the demon fish knife and you have to get an exorcism) and the like
But how can someone give you a pommel without causing a disturbance in the fabric of space and time causing the matter from all time return in the same place relatively to the epicenter and cause this place to become so massive that it turns into a black hole destroying the Earth?
This is the most shocked I have ever been at a RUclips video. 4:03 and skall...ahem Byron pulls out the trusty dusty bowie that sits 2 feet to the left of me on my nightstand bookshelf at all times. Its so exciting to see it get some love. I had no idea it was ACTUALLY a blade skall would favour! I had questions about its effectiveness and worth but I didn't want to mistreat it and now I have none
Byron is the best merchant around and always wants to make sure you're getting what you're looking for. I once bought a simple axe from him for half the price that a Drawf was asking. Greedy little Drawf.
Nimbus Cloud Don't be so harsh. That dwarf probably lost his fortune to an elf that had just killed his wife and children after using his hill as if it was a bed.

This is something that I never thought I would see him make again after he sold the original outfit, but I am so glad to see more. Love you Skall, keep up the good work!
Always love these roleplay videos. I unfortunately have not been blessed in my life when it comes to large combat knives. Of course, being a service member I have bought the usual KABAR and Buck Intrepid but those have been about my 2 best combat knives. The other few I have purchased have all been rather tragically a result of youth and stupidity being combined with naivety towards online shopping and BudK. I still have the numerous Frost Cutlery and Timber Rattler brand bowie and fantasy knives as a reminder. Never again
Of course, most of them resemble the trade in blade from this video, but I have yet to find even a great bowie knife at the upper end of the price market. Usually they are just too impractical and made for look instead of function
@@Courier-Six I'd recommend a Haag Bowie knife if you want an outstanding custom bowie for look as well as function. But it is definitely up there price wise.

Pretty sure that's a samekniv/stuorraniibi from Helle. Seems to be modeled the same as the samekniv from Knivsmed Strømeng, which Skallused to own one of. If markiplier can be a merchant in a game so can skall
