Surely Legacy Energy makes more sense as the Ace Spec if using it to lean into the tankiness? Cape give you +100 HP but Legacy Energy effectively gives you one extra full Wailord, so +230 HP. The energy can't be vacuumed off either.

Ya so I’m new to the TCG side of Pokémon cards. Been playing TCGPlayer and climbing the latter. Having fun. And then I run into some dude using this Wailord deck. I was COOKED. He always had a Wailord with a special energy, heavy baton, and 4 energy. It was insane. Plus the guy was spamming thumbs down from turn 1 til the end just being a douche 😂
At 23:18 you should have concealed cards one of the energy, you go +2 into hand, then can Vessel one of the cards from CC - more card advantage, you end the turn +1 in hand
If you want to try expanded decks (we all miss them😢), ou can try out ptcgsim, where you can play against a friend with any cards you want. Personally I would love to see Regidrago in its full glory🐉(day 3 of asking)
I understand your thinking with the hero’s cape but legacy energy actually adds even more bulk in the form of a 0 prize wailord (230hp>100hp) and the special energy synergy plus it gives you one more energy in the deck obviously

I can see this deck getting shut down by truly competitive stall/disruption decks because of cards such as the newly re-printed enhanced hammer; jamming tower; and other "opponent locking" strategies.
I think it's something like your AC but there's a background noise that's particularly extra this video. Hopefully there's some settings you can tweak to help suppress that sound in the future.
I like all the content but this video and his last one had 2 giant misplays. At 30:08 he could have retreated into Greninja and just sniped both Froslass on the bench, then gone for the single prizes after the Greninja got knocked out

Right I agree it would be a better fit but finding the energy is the issue.

This card is a beast! I've got it in a GLC deck with Bax and Kyogre
Pulled this off my first prize pack and it got me my first badge the next week. This whale is a legend.
