If your there early enough 50008 and a mystery class 20 will be at Eastleigh on a tour to King's Lynn if it stays running on the 25th of May!
Eastleigh is like a smaller version of Crewe or Doncaster. I'm fairly close to Eastleigh. I saw alot in one day. The class 33 is there for an upcoming rail tour this weekend.

Oh, This was when 33012 came to collect 50026 for the Diesel Gala at Swanage. I saw her with the class 50 in the evening at Wareham and Swanage Station Yard. Definately one of the best looking mainline diesels!
It's not going to the diesel gala it's there for mainline testing it goes back relatively soon.
Nope, it's there in preparation for a couple of railtours on the 3rd and 4th of May, and then it's taking its own railtour from Eastleigh to London and back to Swanage for the diesel gala with 69007 leading one way and a 4TC sandwiched in the middle. 50026 is already there
@@zacsrailways8020 Well it is on the evening services on the Friday of the gala and might be used as a backup for 50021 - that's why both 50s went last year
@@TrainsOfDorset Isn’t the other class 50, 50021 coming again to the gala this year, or am I just being thick?

that would be the Class 33 from the Swanage Railway, a few days ago whilst picking up Class 50 50026 before both locos head back to Swanage where it will take part in the diesel gala

Wow Oliver, Eastleigh looked busy and quite rare trains, the class 33 was probably a surprise for you, what was tge number if that GWR class 800? As I might of seen it because I live in Swansea so we get Transport for Wales and Great Western Railway, the blue GBRf class 66 could of well been from Europe as GBRf have ordered class 66s from Europe, im surprised of the variety of trains at Eastleigh
it was a big Surprise i'm going back there on Friday to wish it Farewell for the Start of it's Rail Tour

Crack tests in Arlington. They're basically just checking the cracks because a few years back they found some in the IETs
