I couldn't wait to buy the music! It was a revelation to me with respect to the expressive possibilities of the harpsichord. and Leonhardt showed me the essence of Duphly and rhythmic freedom in the French baroque. Lucille Gruber Gustav Leonhardt...... We also were absolutely blown away by his Forqueray recording and the magnificent dedication by Duphly was there. Our 12 year old daughter performed today the La Forqueray by Duphly at the final concert of the early music course in Warsaw and we were so glad to show your Videos to her as inspiration. Great this is so easy to communicate these days!
I love Duphly...there is something so strange with his music.....maybe the sense of a near end....and your interpretation Is able to express this tragic sense.
