I've watched a handful of bag reviews and yours always seem to be spot on and to the point. Would be great to see a similar comparison but between the Pound Octo and the Prodigy Apex bag. Keep up the great work!
Wow - glad i found this video because i’ve been looking into a new bag. Thanks for posting this extremely detailed video. You answered questions that i hadn’t even thought about.
after watching a couple or your reviews I’m gonna have to go with the Legend bag, it’s more then I could get the Ax5 for but it holds so much more discs
Love the videos and reviews and am really contemplating getting one of these two bags. Which one do you prefer more and also are the pound bags worth the money in the long run or is the legend going to accomplish the same thing with a better value? Thanks!!
In the long run, Pound will hold its value better than the Legend. This is already the case after only a few months of the Legend's release. After using the Squatch bag enough now, the Pound breaks in a bit better and feels better on my back. But, this is personal preference and I'm not built the same as everyone else. Also, I LOVE customization, hence I prefer the Pound. Otherwise, they are almost identical in terms of functionality. If functionality is all you care about and you're not bothered by the color selections, then definitely go with Squatch.
this is exactly the kind of video i allways look for when doing research on bags. absolutely stuffing them to the brim great video helped me out a lot. also i want to ask. how is the squatch concerning rain and water. i know the octothorpe comes with a raincover but i am very interested in the squatch
The squatch does well in the rain. It has a dwr coating that repels rain really well. I believe that's why the company doesn't offer a rainfly for the bag. However, if it's left in a downpour for extended period of time, water will eventually seep into the bag.
I've just switched back to the Pound. I stopped using the Squatch because I prefer different color ways and the straps over time are more comfortable than the Legend. Yes, the Squatch is an absolute bargain, especially given its functionality and quality materials.
I wouldn't say it's $200 "better", I'd say it's $200 "different" than other bags on the market. That $200 difference, isn't for everyone because for some people, there's no real gain in value with that price difference. But, people value different things in life. So, for certain people, the $200 difference is the cost associated with them valuing what Pound has to offer over other disc golf bag manufacturers.
So after having used each of these bags, which would you recommend overall? Octothorpe, Octohaul, or Squatch Legend? Taking into account all factors. (or some other bag)
I've watched a handful of videos now, not sure if you have a consolidated ranking list with everything taken into account but I would love to watch that
@@Viridisk I ended up buying a pound bag then awhile back. Very happy with my purchase. It’s such a great bag even despite the price. So comfortable and feels like I’ll have it for awhile.
When you first swing them over your shoulders, they are both equally comfortable. But after wearing them for a while, The Legend can cause some shoulder fatigue. I usually use my sternum strap on all my bags, so when I do that with The Legend, it works out great and have no shoulder fatigue. I also wear my bags a lot higher than most, so it some times takes a whole round before I feel any shoulder fatigue with The Legend, if at all. As for the Pound, no shoulder fatigue unless I'm playing 2 or 3 rounds in a day. Hope this helps.
If you use codes given out by their sponsored players, it will actually cost less because you will get free shipping. Also, I believe the base price of the bag will stay the same.
This is the most, in depth, and most professional compassion I have seen.
Thank you so much!
really appreciate your in depth bag reviews . has really helped me narrow it down
That's great to hear!

Always appreciate your videos!
Excellent video! Thank you very much! Very helpful since I’ve never actually seen either of these bags in person.
You're welcome! I'm glad it helped.
You're the best. Thank you!

This was an amazing comparison video, really helped me out!!!

Great to hear! The Legend bag may be lighter than the Ax5, too.

Would you ever sell any of the bags in your collection? I’d love to grab a Pound bag and your choice in color ways is 👌🏽

Good clean and clear review
I appreciate that!
Great review! Kind of looks like Squatch just copied the Pound bag though.
Thank you for stopping by!
great review! well done
Thank you!
Pound is extremely premium quality bag .it looks stunning and head turner for sure . Squatch is more practical bag and it also
Looks good .
This is a great way to put it! Both have their own unique qualities!
Are you still using your Legend as your main bag? Why or why not?
Great review. The Legend bags seem like an absolute bargain for the price

Random question, what phone do you have that doesnt fit in the pocket of the legend? Was wondering if my phone would fit or not
Samsung S21 Ultra.
Now way that Pound bag is $200 “better”

I'll have to do a video with info like this. Thanks!
In a nutshell, if I'd have to pick only one bag--it would be an octohaul.
awesome, thank you! great videos by the way
Do you think the pound back is worth the price vs the squatch?
Yes, I do.
@Virisisk which bag do you prefer? Pound or squatch?
After using both brands for a while now, I still prefer the Pound bags due to the comfort, style and great craftsmanship over the Squatch.

Does bottle holder from pound fits Legend side pockets?
It actually dose!
the squatch cooler insert fits the pound pockets really well also.
How are the bags compared comfort wise ?

Do pound vs Prodigy apex XL
Ok, I'll try to get a hold of the Apex XL.
The Pound is far superior.
That's not the conclusion of the video review, but whatever.

@@uppertributaries literally a cheaper/better version of the octo
Is this the first version of the Squatch bag? The preorder version?
Yes.
