This always makes me think of my dad. Although he died in 2004 age 70, i still think about him though. You did a Great Job Reacting to this, Loads of Love from England.
When James recorded this, everyone in the studio started crying. The only one who didn’t was James’ father himself, who jokingly asked why everyone else was and said he’s not dead yet. His father was a colonel in the British Army and James was a captain before leaving the military to pursue music. Another great song by him is “No Bravery”, which is about his experiences serving in the Kosovo War. Another very haunting song. Also, James Blount is his real name. He goes by James Blunt in his music career because he felt that the name Blount would sound too posh.
Watching my father draw his last breath and say goodbye hurts me every day. This song always makes me cry. Bc it epitomises the feelings of hurt and regret that I felt and still feel.
At the time of this video his dad was in stage four kidney failure. James nor his siblings were a match for a kidney transplant for their dad. After this video came out a distant cousin donated a kidney to James’ dad. I have heard he is still pretty sick. His dad donated a kidney many years ago and then his other kidney failed :(
This song is hard in any death I just put my puppy down after 13 years watching him fight and didn’t want to give up but in the end he is with all my others puppies and my parents it’s been a couple days and it’s sucks I know he wasn’t a human or a parent I lost mine a few years ago and when listing to this I go see them memories wow 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 I miss my little guy so much
@@KingLiam-im3fw A scarecrow 😊 . I do like a rap song from time to time if it’s good and has some meaning behind it. For example, I LOVE “Gangsta’s Paradise” by Coolio. I also really like “Mockingbird” by Eminem. I just don’t really care for the rap songs that are pretty much all swearing and about violence. Sadly, it seems that those songs make up about 90% of the rap genre. At least the rap songs I’ve heard.
I understand you disliking rap but if you could give a listen to Mic righteous warm up session 2012 'mic righteous - fire in the booth part 3' Akala- fire in the booth (any of his 4) Lowkey- fire in the booth part 2 All of them are socially aware and deemed conscious rappers. It isn't a gang gang bang bang vibe. Good luck with your journey. 1🧡
I might react to a rap song from time to time. Maybe. It’s not just the often violent and profane content I don’t like. I personally don’t really care for the style of that genre. Talking to a beat isn’t really my thing. I’m a country and old school rock/pop kind of girl! But you never know. A rap song reaction might make it onto my channel from time to time. 😊
@@reactionswitherin5504 what's crazy is his songs tie together and he has an order the way they tie together hes made four records . If you listen to them in order you will hear and see how they tie together. He mentions song titles in previous songs . It a rabbit hole for sure . But you would not have to react to all of them just ones you see with lots of views. But that can be tricky cause he dont make a bad song especially his last three albums.
Bless you.
It's ok to cry at sad songs 😥😥

I’m so sorry Ray. Pets aren’t the same as human family members of friends but they’re still family and it always hurts to lose them 😢😢 . Hugs to you.
Yes that’s his real dad he needed a transplant kidney but one of his family members were able to donate
Yes that's his real dad in this video
People can see how beautiful you are
❤
I had to say goodbye to my mother and she lived here I was taking care of her and I went in in the morning before going to work and found her dead
Yes that’s his real Daddy 😢
Heartbreaking 😢💔 . But I read somewhere that he’s doing better and got a donor, which is awesome!
Yes that’s his real dad
Try to react to rap etc too? Keep up the videos!!
I have one Eminem song to react to at some point. Truthfully... I hate rap 😂😂 ! But I might do a rap song from time to time.
@@reactionswitherin5504 I understand that, it's not everyone's cup of tea hehe, who did you dress up as in your Halloween videos?

You might like the rapper NF if you have or haven't heard of him. He has substance and does not swear 😎😍
@@jcsadog I’m willing to give him a try 😊
