- I love this song so much, they look so cute performing it live & the music is amazing, especially the small musical part after the 2nd chorus! BUT, ugh, I hate to say it but the distribution makes me feel conflicted, I mean half of the group has no lines from the 2nd chorus to the end of the song... ? like... ? why...? Ughh, anyway, this song is still a bop but I had to let this frustration out somewhere!

How can a song be soooo good, yet the distribution be so... ugh... Anyway, tomorrow I'll be doing the two songs I have left & will probably take a break over the weekend, lol.
Emerald Stone: iGot7-Blink-Buddy-Elvis Trash Yes I also love this song bc it's kinda in the same line as Gone With the Wind & Hear the Wind sing, but yeah. I mean I'm not expecting them to have more than 30 s., that's fine, but I would've liked of they at least tried to distribute their lines all over the song or something idk. Ah, I still love it tho. I'm not sure, but does anyone else think it's possible that Sowon prefers fewer lines? Bc for example when they were singing rain in the springtime and they audio stopped making them sing 100% live, Sowon asked Buddies to sing with her. I think she isn't confident enough which is sad because her voice is beautiful, but if she wants it like this, that's fine with me

i also think so she always only sing when buddy is singing i think she is contented on those buddy give their support in the group
sowon's sound really no good as other member and she is no too stable.that's why her line just few...

Yerin improves a lot in this comeback. I think she can get more line because she can sing the high note and sing it stable.
I see why people are disappointed with this distribution, but to be honest, that's a really high toned song.
Eunha use to have a lot of lines being lead vocal, but she doesn't get too many high notes, I never saw she sing so many before, because they use to go to Yuju. However this is such a tricky song that required Yuju's stability a lot besides de high notes, so Eunha got them.
Anyway I'm actually really proud of baby Umji in this comeback! She improved so much

Gabriela Gariglio Yewon is definitely the biggest surprise this year (though her voice has always been my fave since I began stanning them.. and I'm an Eunha bias). I'm also hoping that their next releases would have "fairer" distribution so Buddies would stop arguing over something that shouldn't really be a problem.
Claire Reinhart Yewon is such a adorable baby and I always have been so fond of her, I got really sad that time she was being bullied and getting so much hate for her looks that she tried to hide her face on stages, that really broke me and I wanted to protect her so much...
I also stan Eunha, and of course I'm really proud of her in this comeback, she worked hard and got more center time and high notes, she's singing so well and is easier to stan her every comeback.
But this time nothing could make more proud as a Buddie than the way Umji blossomed and gained confidence. She's shining so bright in this comeback and she improved so much
why is there someone who blames sinb and yuju getting what they are supposed to get? being entitled as a main vocal and main dancer, means they actually excel on that particular skill, so why is everyone still complaining? it is not their fault that the choreographer put her in the center or the producer chose her to sing the line. it is because they can actually do it, and do it well. so why do you always have to blame the members, when they are literally in one group. if i were you, i would not complain on sowon's lack of singing lines. i want her, rapping. because she is the MAIN rapper. not singer.

I totally agree with..Yuju and Sinb are blamed...Especially Yuju, she was(is) blamed because she got lots of lines and centers right now but dont put the blame on Yuju coz its not her fault...They just follow what is said...The producers and choreographers decided it so accept....

Yes, the distribution isn't fair but when is anything really fair? You have to admit that Yuju, Eunha and SinB have the best voices in the group. Umji suits ballads and softer toned songs, Yerin suits more upbeat songs, and Sowon suits more in the middle songs. All of them are amazingly good at singing, dancing, and even rapping but when it comes to voice range and what their voices suit most, all of them are all over the place. Plus Sowon doesn't seem too confident in herself all that much. In Me Gustas Tu Era she said she didn't change her hairstyle because she was scared no one would recognize her, she only changed it in Fingertip and that was dying it red. I think SouMu added Contrail into their Fingertip album because the album suited Sowon the most out of the group and Contrail brought out Sowon's voice more than anyone in the group. In this album, it suits more of Eunha's voice because she's so bright in energy.
My problem isn't really with the amount of lines, bc it isn't even that different from their other songs which is somehow understandable for the reasons we all know (which are also the ones you stated). Where I feel conflicted is how half of the group has no lines after the second chorus, and as good and stable the other half is, there's always a chance for them & their voice to get tired more easily bc they have to carry more than hal of the song... Idk, of course I'm not expecting a "fair" distribution where everyone gets the same amount of time, but I think that spreading their lines throughout the song rather than having 3 members just dancing... The song is still amazing, and of course I love it, but this is just a feeling I have. 😄
Idk why people is complaining about SinB. Whenever it's SinB, people complain. In center distribution, it's a given that she's going to have the most center time. She's GFRIEND's center (and face of the group/visual), main dancer and the 3rd best vocalist so when she's singing, the spotlight is hers. It's HER position, just like if Yuju is the main vocalist, she has the most lines, so SinB is the main dancer, she has the most center time. And tbh, she only started having those center time since Rough to Fingertip, and now look what happened in Love Whisper. About the vocals it's has always been Yuju - Eunha - SinB - Yerin - Umji - Sowon (Umji was better than Yerin for awhile tho) even Source Music acknowledged this if you follow their vocal/solo stages/activities. Some people say that Yerin is better than SinB, but not really as SinB is catching up to Eunha (SinB was supposed to be GFRIEND's lead vocal before Eunha was added at the last minute bcs of the girls who backed out). Yerin voice is thin and sweet (I love it sm), so she's more suited to sing ballads. She can hit high note, but it's usually flat. SinB's voice (can cracked) is both cute and mature and she has better breathing support and techniques than Yerin overall, whose voice tends to fluctuate a lot. Both Yerin and SinB is stable, but Yerin tends to skip over the details in dancing when she's focused on singing, while SinB really goes all out. But at the end of the day, it's all about your bias tbh and I may come off as biased, but I really tried.

To be honest, my bias is Yerin. My top 3 members are Yerin, SinB, Eunha. The person I always care (for her growth in idol life) is Sowon, and the one I'm most similar too is Sowon, but height-wise, probably Yuju.
I just can relate so *much* to these girls, like how Yerin have no aegyo for her parents, SinB's lack of care, Sowon's insecurities, Umji's cool(if you notice, she's the maknae but definitely one of the oldest in heart), Yuju's fears (I don't fear heights, but sure I'll get chills(?) when I'm up where I can't touch the ground), Eunha's effort to not give in to just a personality and try new things to figure what her real feelings may be...
But I've been enchanted by Eunha's charm lately. She's too cute. Probably because she gave up on sexy XD
I believe, this song is Eunha's and SinB's song (Yuju always got the most lines so I guess that doesn't count) since it just fits the two of them so mucchhh (individually, not as a ship)
