The girl group ‘GFRIEND’ who has given us a sweet summer in August, 2017 is supposed to release a repackage album ‘RAINBOW’ on 13th September. They’re going to keep their own mood in this fall.
The title song ‘SUMMER RAIN’ is the 2nd series beginning from the 1st ‘LOVE WHISPER’. Its impressive lyrics are telling about remembering last summer. Especially, they’ve maximized their sentimental mood by sampling Schuman’s Liederkreis ‘Dichterliebe op.48-1’’

Why Gfriend is so special? Because they didn’t need more english songs to be understood and be loved. Most of their title tracks are 99% Korean. Some are 100% korean lyrics.
They don’t have exaggerated words like “baby” and confusing lyrics.
They have the best Choreo among Kpop artists. Not even close.
They don’t have the “popularity” yet they are the best.
They have disbanded yet they don’t like that they are because of their memorable songs.
You can feel tears of joy from most of their songs.
They don’t need to be too cute.
Low and high notes are perfectly delivered.

4/4 songs sometimes doesn’t sound 4/4.

My favorite song of gfriend. I listen to this song when it rains and im at home. And sometime i cry idk why but this song gives me some kind of nostalgic feeling. I wish i could go back in summer rain era, it was so peaceful
I came to kpop after gfriend disbanded . I don't really listen to all their song . One day i saw summer Rain on TV as i was familiar with gfriend (thanks to mago ) i watched the mv ; listened to it and then ended up loving it sm . Now i listen to it every day 💗

I know this is a funny story, but I started to stan Gfriend because of a gacha movie (I was a gacha addict from 2018) from a gacha movie named "My Boss Is My Ex-husband" then I started to search the outro of the mini movie and started to listen to summer rain, I searched for their other songs back then and I listened to Rough, Glass Bead, Time For The Moon Night, and Fever, best times tbh
Well, Summer Rain is really that song that grows on you the more you listen to it, the piano will haunt you in your deep sleep, the melody will stuck in your head and you'll end up playing the piano melody in the air, there's no escape, that's what happening to me right now, I can't stop listening to it and the freakin instrumental, ugh.
