Well, Summer Rain is really that song that grows on you the more you listen to it, the piano will haunt you in your deep sleep, the melody will stuck in your head and you'll end up playing the piano melody in the air, there's no escape, that's what happening to me right now, I can't stop listening to it and the freakin instrumental, ugh.

Summer Rain is a song about the sad memories one had during summer, that even at the happiest season, some can still feel melancholic. So creative... I was really glad I lived in an era where GFRIEND and the whole of their staff who worked with them existed!

Honestly GFRIEND is really the best. Koreans should be proud of having GFRIEND(if I'm a korean, I would be proud of 'em, but I'm always proud of 'em as a buddy). They sing beautiful lyrical kpop songs(with beautiful korean lyrics), dance beautiful kpop choreographies, and bring up the powerful, energetic girls element,

kpop without gfriend? I guess we are left with girls who either act rough and tough, sexy or too much cute to the point of cringe. GFRIEND literally has a different vibe from the multitude of girl groups out there. They had their own color (aura? whatever you may want to call it) and every song release, whether title or b-side track, you can really say it is them! Summer Rain is like an "only GFRIEND" song. I doubt any of the groups out there now can cover this with grace and elegance just like what they did.
Even their videos are magical! Just an info about the video... it is seen from a point of view of someone who is about to cry that is why the sides are blurred. Summer Rain is a song about the sad memories one had during summer, that even at the happiest season, some can still feel melancholic. So creative... I was really glad I lived in an era where GFRIEND and the whole of their staff who worked with them existed!
