If wrestling was not scripted, regardless of his physical appearance, hogan would have got completely owned by earthquake. I think earthquake was probably in the top 3 most legitimate badasses in the early 90’s that nobody would want to have a real fight with.

Such a great yet simple gimmick- "I'm a naturally made force that can't be stopped and I will send you to the hospital." He definitely should've faced Hogan for the title at WM7.

Just watched the Darkside episode about Earthquake. Heart breaking stuff. Funny to see what a great family man he was, vs how terrified I was of him when I was just a little boy lol. I hated him when he "killed Damian" lol.
Yep, this was from a locally shown promo for a house show. Back in those days, the weekly shows would have different segments promoting shows coming to your specific viewing area. If there wasn’t a show coming soon to your area, they would instead use generic promos from the wrestlers about themselves or feuds they had going at the time. They used the generic versions of the shows for the episodes on WWE Network/Peacock.
