I took a huge risk buying the cheapest Porsche 718 Cayman S in the country from auction. Not one panel was left un scratched or damaged. Over the past few videos i have been rebuilding & restoring it by adding quarter panels and even a new roof. But in this video i begin the Porsche GT4 & GT4RS upgrades.

It's not hard to see why Mats channel is growing and being so successful at the rate it has. Well edited and filmed videos, humble and humourous attitude, full disclosure with pricing, interesting builds with a solid rotation of cars so it doesn't get repetitive, and he gets so much done in every single video.. The definition of quality over quantity. Great job Mat!

All have done evil “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23) The penalty for sin is hell (Revelation 21:8). Because of Gods love for us Jesus Christ came down from heaven to take the punishment for our sin on the cross in which he was spat on, beaten, mocked and laughed at.
Christ died for the sins of the world and The third day God raised him from the dead (Praise God). This was done so that those who believe on Christ will not perish (hell) but have life everlasting (heaven); be justified by Gods grace through redemption in Christ (John 3:16) (Romans 3:24).
The blood Jesus shed on the cross washes away our sin if we Believe in The Son of God and his finished work (ordained by God) on the cross. When this happens the believer receives the righteousness of Christ in place of their own unrighteousness (all sins are forgiven) and this makes them saved (going heaven) and they are born again as a Christian.. (Romans 3:25-26)

Just came across your channel. I couldn't move on to another video without complementing your attitude and work.
I am a certified automotive master tech but I also worked 20 years side by side doing body work in my garage and oh boy do I love seeing vehicles brought back to life.
I never worked on prestigious vehicles such as Lambos or high end porsches so I know I will learn new things from watching your channel.
I learn best by getting hands on tackling the tasks just like you.
You may not have any cert but with what I have seen I would be happy to have you beside me in a workshop, attitude and application go a long way 🙌🙌
Oh and one last thing, some dealer parts being cheaper than 2nd hand is a very common thing across all makes and models, I learnt many years ago to price every part genuine and aftermarket first then compare with scrap yards. It takes extra time but you will get the benefits in having more new oem parts on the vehicles.
Keep up the great work 📸💪👌

Literally installing the same rear spoiler on my 981 as I type this out(if this is the one from eBay). I’ve been brainstorming the last few days with my mates on how we should mount it to the deck lid because of the gap in the deck lid and we came to the same conclusion about drilling out large holes from the underside to fit washers in through the bottom…. Going to water seal them with a boat epoxy after I install it most likely… I also had the worry I’d lose the bolts in the lid if they fell off so I swapped the Philips heads for hex bolts today at Home Depot… glad to hear you got them all out.. I was ready to pull my magnet out today to snake them out if I lost them.. love the documenting keep it up!!

The trick with the soft edge you filled in on the rear bumper cover is you have to first create a sharp edge. You can use tape you guide a straight line, then once thats in place you just sand the sharp edge down to equal radius as the rest. Attempting to go straight to round edge is very difficult. When hunting for highs and lows use a "guide coat" once you paint a layer of primer, add a light dusting from a rattle can of contrasting color then you can see as soon as you start sanding where the lows are because you havent sanded them yet

Definitely one of my favourite channels! Loving the crash damaged game, but would love to see an American muscle car type restoration!

Yessss dude! Love the progress 🙌🏼 looking so good. Love the GT4 front retrofit and carbon pieces, and I honestly don’t think the wing looks that big at all. With the rest of the carbon on, when it’s all 1 color, and after you do what you do with suspension/wheel setup I know it’ll look soooo on point 😎 can’t wait to see this thing all buttoned up. Like I’ve said in the last Porsche videos, this is EXACTLY what I want to do with a 718 cayman so it’s awesome getting to see you piece it all together and even more awesome to see how close you are to the finish line. Can’t wait to see the next update on this 🙌🏼🙌🏼
As always, stay awesome man ✊🏼

Thanks for another great video Mat. As a former Porsche owner, I'm really enjoying this build & am impressed with the amount & variety of work (with some new skills learnt along the way) that you have undertaken to date. I fully agree, the GT4 look on this Cayman is the way to go!
Really gutted that I can't get a Limited Edition Cayman T shirt, as international shipping is not available. 😢

Other than the wing, the car is looking spot on.
Maybe a middle of the road size wing?
    Keep up the great job.
Finished watching the Aston, and it is spot on!

One thing I would like to say is that Matt has good taste/design when it comes to the T shirt merchandise. I really love the Aston Martin T shirt design. Lastly, can't wait for Matt to fully rebuild the Porsche.
