I love making my own S & S Pork! I make it gluten free so use cornflour for the coating on the pork as well. I also love adding slices of fresh ginger and red chili. Love the sauce you made. I can't wait to try it!

You’re such an amazing cook...I can’t wait to try this recipe 💖
OMG! Just made this for dinner it was sensational! I tweaked it a little as weight watching only used 1tbsp flour and shallow fried with 1tbsp of rapeseed oil and 1tbsp for vegetables. It was absolutely delicious so would have been even more delicious Marion’s way but at least I got to eat it 😋 thank you Marion love from the UK
This dish is amazing!!!!!... Thanks for sharing
I tried it, and OH.MY.GOD.
I'm not even saying that as an emphasis. It justs taste as it looks, the meat is juicy (I tend to overcook fried pork, but here it was just impossible), the vegetables looks glossy/shiny amazing, and it just the first time I do it so I might as well improve. This is so easy for the result I can't believe it, you can't do a mistake. Thank you a lot for this recipe !
I made this last night for dinner. OMG it was easy and so delicious. I left the pineapple out because I didn't have any. Also, for the pineapple or apple juice, I had to use peach water because that is all I had. We live in Okinawa, Japan, and I feel the Okinawan brown sugar really gave the dish a special flavor. Thank you for all that you share.
Thank you for this recipe. I just made it tonight.. 😁
I am addicted to this channel. 😍😍😍
This dish was really good will be making it again for sure
My kids loved it!! Thanks Marion
My family love the Marion's Kitchen Laksa kit.
Made this tonight, yummy and fast preparation.
I made it tonight with pork loin, and it was amazing!!
If you dont mind sharing in a video what your favorite kitchen tools and pans are and where you got them? :) It would be so helpful! Thanks!!
Well I didn’t exactly follow your recipe but I got close and my wife and I enjoyed the meal very much. Thanks!
Finished cooking it maybe 15 minutes ago. I'm now eating it with brown rice. I followed the recipe to the exact - omg it's soooooo goooooood!
Glad you like it! -Team Marion's Kitchen
Delicious! Greetings from Puerto Rico ♥️
i tried this recipe and it's really good! better than resto bought :-)
Some diagonal sliced thin carrot and celery are good for crunch, apple cider vinegar is good in the sauce. I like a touch of heat as well. You can also mix pork and chicken or shrimp. American way, use what you have, I have even added a zucchini, use what you have and to YOUR taste. Could garnish with celery leaves, sesame seeds, those can crisp onions, for crunch. But first time?, follow this, then get innovative. Consider ginger, even garlic..
Definitely would be the perfect protein for great stir fries! Yum!
Marion , here in chiang rai it is hard to find good pork belly .great cooking ....
Yummm...tomorrow's dinner my boy's would love this.😋😍🤩
Just a suggestion, if for some reason some people are allergic to pineapples, you can try add chopped fresh cucumber. It totally brings a different dimension to the dish
Hey awesome! I LOVE that idea Albert. I'm going to try that myself! Thanks for sharing :-)
This is a fantastic meal luv it

Oh that's so kind of you to say Serena. Thank you!
One of those cooking videos from various countries and chefs that one tends to become addicted to! Whether one tries the recipe or not! 🤭😀
Pls advice if this recipe can be modified for (i) mutton (goat), and (ii) chicken. If yes, what meat cuts, and what other modifications in ingredients and procedure are needed?
Looking forward to your response, and your future videos. Thanks!
Great! I couldn't believe the meat was really that tender. Greetings from Hamburg in Germany from Belle Duffy
Love this recipe but i substituted pork for lean chicken breast..still comes out perfect everytime it's always a hit that sauce is my favorite part
What do you do with the oil used for deep frying the pork in flour.?
Great work as always! Only one thing... no ginger? I find that ginger works so well with both
pork and sweet and sour sauce.
Tom K sounds like a great addition! I’ll have to try that next time 😊
No ginger in sweet and sour pork, BUT you can add ginger when you make sweet and sour fish fillet
Yummmm. I have tried all your recipes and t bbn ey are winners. Thanks for sharing xxx you make my life easy
Aw that's so kind of you to say Suzy! Thank you!
@@Marionskitchenabsolute pleasure. This is tomorrow's recipe cant wait.
Hi Marion, can I substitute pork belly with pork tenderloin? Thank you.
Try using fresh strawberries in sweet and sour dishes. They are delicious!!
Self raising flour ok for the batter?
I have just found your videos and I am really impressed.
Great stuff Marion and I look forward to more of your wonderful recipes.
What state do you come from if you don't mind me asking?
Hey thank you mr ed! And I'm half Thai, half Australian. I live in Bangkok, Thailand :-)
@@Marionskitchen wonderful Marion. The best of both worlds.
Look forward to attempting some of your recipes.
This is the best takeaway dish I have tried to cook but fried rice is a close second.
Looks delish:) could I stir fry the pork instead of deep fry them ? I’m terrified of oil spill when deep frying food lol 😅 #adultlife
Can i use chicken or beef instead pork?
If you’re contemplating about making this recipe - DO IT. It’s one of the best meals I’ve ever made! My husband said if he hadn’t seen me cooking it in the kitchen he would have thought I just bought it from a restaurant.
I love love love your earrings!
I followed this recipe to a T, was good! However , next Time I would reduce the sugar because it’s just way too sweet that it almost tasted like candied pork.
ULTIMATE is right!!!!
YOUR THE BOMB 💯👌
What kind of flour have you used???
Hey are your products available in the UK 🇬🇧
Sorry David :-( Only Australia, the USA and New Zealand at the moment. Hopefully one day we can make it to the UK!
I hear using plum sauce makes the best taste it you do not want to use catsup
I love your voice😍😍😍
Finally made it!
Husband asked if he could marry me again... i'd say that's a win...
I love your earrings!
Hey thanks Christina! :-)
Hello.Where can i buy the same WOK u are using? TY!
Mine is a carbon steel wok that I purchased from an Asian supermarket. They're pretty cheap. They're also the ones that you need to keep oiled and seasoned :-)
I like your voice!
Oh looking SO pretty!!!!
I can't seem to find the recipe itself? Am I missing it?
👍👍👍❤
Can this be done with chicken?
there is something wrong with your website. keeps re loading. cant get the ingredients
Could you send me recipe for salads
YUM! YUM! YUM! :0)
This is the best sweet and sour dish I’ve ever tasted. Will you marry me Marion?
All my Thai friends in Bangkok add ketchup as do I.
0:15
Hair on the pork skin
Where are the measurements for the sauce???
I really like fresh pineapple but fresh really irritates my mouth and tongue, I’m guessing it’s the acid in the fruit so I generally avoid it but I really enjoy tinned/canned pineapple as it doesn’t irritate my throat at all. Do you know what the difference is?
0:17 What happened to your accent?? “tender” came out in American 🤪
WHAT!! Leave pineapple out, BLASPHEMY LOL, NEVER.
You DO NOT EVER put KETCHUP or a tomato product in Sweet and Sour. The ancient Polynesians and Chinese did not have Tomatoes or anyone else in the Eastern hemisphere until the 1800's.
Ketchup? Bye...
Nope that’s not the way
Her glasses is distracting me.
