So so happy to see the positive ultrasound for you! Don't worry about your bump, everyone shows differently. I'm not as tall as you, but at 5'10 I was pretty small until towards the end of my second trimester. Tall people tend to hide the baby ;)
Ahhh interesting... though that makes me kinda sad hahaha. I'm looking forward to rocking a bump. Yay for tall ladies ;)
My husband and I got two single balloons. One pink and one blue. We took a photo of us holding them up. Then took a photo of one of us blowing up the correct color. It was fun for us to show our family.

Oh how exciting! Congrats on the coming grandchild! I'm sure this is a wonderful new experience that you have been looking forward to!!! This is the first time I've watched you but I am soooo happy for you!! It took me 8 years to have my Isabella London and I had to have N emergency c section then histerectomy when I gave birth and 3 full blood transfusion I almost died but we are both happy and healthy!! Sorry for the rambling but I was a blubbering mess watching this!!
Congrats! Beautiful news 😊 I didn't have a morning sickness and my symptoms were very few. I guess we just got lucky!
I guess so hey!? Though last few days have been somewhat nauseous, but again, nothing like I was anticipating. Just hope I don't eat my words now ;) xx

Congratulations, it's such a great feeling to see the baby and hear the heartbeat!! I am due very close to you on September 8th! I have noticed too that my symptoms come and go. Some days I feel pretty normal and the next I feel really nauseous and tired.
Amazing Danielle! Congrats! Totally right!? I think the longer I'm pregnant the more I realize that I have good days and bad ones and that that's just how it's going to be... I'm finding it easier to accept that now ;)

Don't worry about it being off when I did my 6 week one baby was ahead and the next baby was a week behind got a ultrasound at 7 weeks and both babies measured ahead of schedule 😍❤️ it will be ok I'm glad your feeling hopeful and good enjoy this ❤️
Awe you look beautiful in the morning, even on a bad day! Congratulations!!! And, as a nurse, you have nothing to worry about with the estimated days. It is only an estimation and quite honestly, in the beginning its so hard to get an actual exact date. In the end, you may have the baby a few weeks early or a few weeks late. All good news. Yaaaaaaay.
Congratulations!!! I'm so happy that you got to finally hear it. BTW, I only just started to get a little morning sickness at 7 wks and then it got much worse, lol. But, I like you, embraced it.

So happy you got to hear the heartbeat, makes everything seem a little more real and positive! I knew exactly when I ovulated so when I started having early scans I was also worried to hear my baby was measuring up nearly a week smaller than he should have been. They told me not to worry at all as the heartbeat was strong so it meant nothing, it must have been relating to the time I implanted. The next scan he was measuring up exactly where he should have been the time before, the scan after that he was 4 days behind again and the scan after that some parts of his body where measuring up bigger than he should have been with the original EDD. Honestly I think it either fluctuates or can be hard to get an exact measurement if they don't get a cross section that shows the full length, it really isn't anything to worry about. Currently 19 weeks with a healthy little boy, still not out of the woods as I have some problems however feeling him kick all day makes everything better! I can't wait to follow your journey, things will become even more real for you as you carry on along your journey. Xxxxxxx take are of yourself xxxxxxx

That's what the old wives tales tell me too... when I do ramzi I get confused. At first I thought boy, second one looks more girl. My gut says girl anyway, but I'll be thrilled with either!

I can't tell you how happy I am for you. I will be following your journey and you, baby and husband are in my prayers. I just found out I'm pregnant after a missed miscarriage at 12 weeks and 4 days I feel blessed because we had been trying since and had no luck the baby I lost was due September 20th and this baby is due September 24. I go for my first OB visit and ultrasound on Feb 7th and naturally I'm a bit worried please keep me in your prayers. And again I'm so happy for you this is your year I just know it . Congratulations to you both xo. I also have had no symptoms and I totally understand how you feel cause it's making me a bit nervous.

I'm 10 weeks so just visiting other blogs for fun while waiting for my 12 week follow up ultrasound! So happy you had a great ultrasound. I'll be 1 more reassuring person to say I've had a few other pregnancies measure off by a week and those babies caught up by 20 weeks and my dates weren't changed... though I also seem to deliver late.. anyway congrats!!

I'd def say girl. They say the higher the heartbeat the more likely its a girl. Our daughters was in the 160's and our boys were in the 140's. Congrats either way! What an exciting next step on this journey!!!

Liv I had many friends who had no symptoms of pregnancy at all! So don't worry. I have been praying every night for you. Darn endometriosis! But hey I got pregnant and had a healthy pregnancy and baby girl so I think the hardest part is getting pregnant for us.
After the pain of endometriosis, pregnancy is a welcome treat, right.

Sooo I just watched all of your Episodes to date ( February 2nd) and of course subscribed! Your story sounds very similar to mine and I found it very fulfilling to be able to relate to someone, us endo/infertile girls don't seem to come around that often and I seem to find the most support through online groups and videos like yours so thank you for being brave enough to share :) I am actually also from Alberta ( mentioned to my husband a couple times we should move to Texas, the weather is better, but no such luck yet lol. Oh well I would probably miss the mountains anyways :)I'm a on my first round of IVF ( I went the surgery root instead of jumping right into IVF , 2x actually and should have just started with the IVF in Hindsight), have been trying for 6 years and like you have never been pregnant ( well now your pregnant so your giving me a glimmer of hope) Once you get used to let downs it can be hard to look forward but we just push onwards don't we lol. I had my retrieval on the Jan 1st, ended up with a Freeze all Cycle so now I'm waiting for my transfer, in a couple weeks I will be starting my FET protocol and hopefully can have something to look forward to :) I have to say that I sure got a kick out of watching you on the episodes when you started your meds, just staring at the needle, like what the hell am I supposed to do with this ??!! That was me little over a month ago, ha ha, we went to a Christmas Party and I had to bring my bag of goodies and do it in our vehicle outside, how embarrassing. And the Lupron, I was on it for 6 months, Pure hell, so I know how you feel about the hair loss, and the hot flashes, mood swings (my poor husband) !!! Its so demotivating to try pull yourself together when your body is falling apart.Anyways, Congratulations on the Baby and you look beautiful and glowing now. I am going to keep following your videos so I know what ( Hopefully) Lies ahead !

Absolutely. Every week we settle more and more into this new chapter of our journey. Some days are more difficult than others, but we definitely feel very grateful to be as far along as we are.

me and my boyfriend wanted to do a gender reveal but we know we couldn't wait to find out the gender so we've decided to find out and reveal it to others. I didn't want to do the cake or box/balloon either. We decided to order a special soccer ball(my boyfriend used to play) that you can fill with pink or blue powder/confetti. once you kick it it breaks open and you see the color. they have tons of different balls and their super cheap to order. just an idea! congratulations by the way!
OOoohh maybe they do a golf ball?? Hubs and I are super into golf. That'd be fun. Love it.

You can do the NIPT screening anytime after 9 weeks. I did mine at 9 weeks and found out within a week the results. If you wanted to get it done earlier than at your next appointment you should be able to. I was impatient and wanted to be sure my baby was ok and to find out the sex.
I think I'm okay with it being at 12 weeks because overall I'll feel more confident in the pregnancy etc. The impatient part of me wants to do it sooner, but realistically I won't be buying or planning anything until we're in the second trimester anyway so holding off it's a big deal I suppose.
That is true most women don't buy a lot of things right away. I am very happy for you. Enjoy your pregnancy. I was sick most of mine and had some complications so I couldn't wait for Oliver to be born. His was my miracle IVF baby. 3 rounds of IVF and he was my only viable embryo the third time. I look forward to seeing your videos as your pregnancy progresses : )
For the Gender thing, What about a Silly String Fight between you and Eric, or even with friends and family?! I saw one family do a gender party with close friends and family, and they had a close friend read the envelope and then buy pink silly string, took all the caps off and wiped off any residue on the nozzles, and then they counted to 3 and everyone just started silly stringing each other! I thought it was a super cute and cool idea!

I think it would be so refreshing to have a couple simply read the results. Lol Drink lots of water and get some gluten free sweets. It will give you some energy. I just cannot wait to find out if it is a boy or girl.

I wish I could fined out the gender at my 12week scan, we don't find out till our 20week scan in the UK :( . We can find out at 16weeks but we have to pay for a private scan we're as our 12 week and 20 week is free in England
I'll only be finding out because I'll be doing non-invasive diagnostic screening (blood test) for down syndrome etc. I think my OB wants to do it because we're IVF patients, I'm not sure. I didn't argue ;)

THat ultrasound tech. SUCKED. How completely FLAT. I am Canadian but have lived in the USA for nearly 20 years. I am an RN and i was wishing i had done your scan - i would have reassured you and been upbeat and positive. She just quickly swiped over the heartbeat and, while i could see the heart flickering in the embryo, I totally understand why dad asked if there was a heartbeat because the bitch sonographer didn't even take the time to pause and let you LISTEN. Well, congratulations - the baby looked amazingly healthy and normal!
