Direct technique looks cool, but I still love the spring technique.

There were just so many ways to do the same thing, see what works for you and see what works for the patient. That’s the nice thing about having flexibility.

Nope, I don’t see how anyone doesn’t enjoy being cracked it’s like a rush of dopamines in your body saying relax!

Do muscle strain in upper back can last several months because I am experiencing pain for let’s say 9 months in my upper back and I did 2 exams MRI and X-ray and both came out good.

If you are an office worker or do you have a profesion that need you to put stress on your upper body then maybe you are not allowing your back muscles to relieve tension

Not exactly the most specific lumbar manipulation you'll ever see but a decent chiropractic technique fo sho.

Doesn’t really matter. There’s shown to be no difference in therapeutic effect between specific vs regional thrust techniques

Im terrified of cervical manipulation since i keep reading about it causing stroke amd sudden death.

    • @OMTTraining

The key emphasis with manipulation is not how to do it, but when not to do it, which is why we focus on case, history and testing prior to any technique to ensure patient safety

I'm looking to add some basic manipulation techniques to a massage therapy qualification - of my own volition.
How practical would applying these techniques for a massage therapist be?
