      I love act 3. It makes you so immerse to the story like the repeating samsara festival. As always love your reactions and you're excitement towards the game and it's so genuine which makes me so happy. Keep what you doing love your videos and steams. Okay, Since I'm here I was thinking about and this includes the Oratice De Analysis Cartinel. What if the archon Furina transfer power into the machine giving it life and that's why it's able to speak. I thought of this when The Knave said "there is no doubt something is wrong with her and "she's probably curse". The second theory that her power created is probably stored within Neavalette or either sealed by Clestia? I think I'm Cooking

I really don't think there'd be any reason for the hydro dragon to take the form of a whale for some reason +There would definitely be something suggesting it in at least Neuvillette's story or the archon quest. • @notbubblystarters05
      @notbubblystarters05 Год назад +24

      Yeah. That's a really good take of it actually. I feel a lot for Lyney as an older sibling who fears losing their younger siblings, and Wriothesley's casual tone about their siblings' lives really set me off as well. So I get how things escalated far more than they should have on both sides.

    • @Zero-hs5tx
      @Zero-hs5tx Год назад +13

      @@notbubblystarters05 I have younger siblings too, but you need to be realistic here. You can't be spies for an enemy nation and expect nothing to happen to you. This situation would escalate a whole lot more if it was the real world. The obligation is not on Wriothesley to de-escalate. It's on the party that escalated the problem in the first place - Lynney's.

    • @notbubblystarters05
      @notbubblystarters05 Год назад +10

      @@Zero-hs5tx Wriothesley accidentally triggered Lyney's trauma, one unrelated to the mission, though. In the real world, an older sibling would try to reason logically, but Lyney's NOT just an older sibling, I said he's one who went through tragic LOSS before and WOULD make things escalate as emotions were never one to follow rationale. I would know. Such is loss. You can't reason with desperate feelings. Specially something so deep rooted as to make up his character. They very rarely could be helped and it may not be Wriothesley's exact job description to do so, but by your logic, it's also not in Lyney's job to answer Wriothesley yet that was demanded of him. Still, Wriothesley has eyes and you don't need rocket science to see Lyney's already panicking and wouldn't be able to calm down himself to do so anyway. So as the only level headed person in that room who triggered Lyney's response (who possibly also never separated with a sibling before and therefore wouldn't be as affected (ehem- Traveler- ehem)), he did what he could. As a true caring person would. Responding to the situation before him. What do you expect him to do? Just stand there? Realistically, an emotion expressed by another would be met by a chain response, of course. So yes. It WASN'T his job, but he stepped up and MADE it his. The same way he made it his business to mess with the Fatui siblings. He could decide to take action here too and THAT was the response he chose. Though it was understandably difficult for him to de-escalate things as HE was the one using Lyney's cause of distress as bargain. Regardless of one's station, helping others is human nature. That's why I mentioned BOTH sides. Afterall, in this game, there IS no good or bad. Just those who hurt others and those who got hurt in turn. Unintentional or not. Feelings are just as real as the consequences for them. Lastly, you may think I am biased, rooting for Lyney, but to make it clear how much loss can change things when added to the older sibling equation, I've always been on the fence about the Lyney and his Fatui family. Distrusting him as the Traveler did and was more excited for Wriothesley the moment I saw him revealed in a trailer. But opinions can change when trauma is brought up so callously regardless if intent as emotions are fickle things. I get both sides had reasons, but it doesn't make the scene hurt any less. Even if the one I saw hurt was someone I distrusted and the one who did it someone I very much admired.

    • @Zero-hs5tx
      @Zero-hs5tx Год назад

      @@notbubblystarters05 First off, you're acting like Wriothesley is talking to his friend or an acquaintance. He's not. He's talking to an enemy spy. Why he would be sympathetic with an enemy spy and worry about their feelings? Makes zero sense.
      And as I previously alluded to, you can't expect to spy on another nation and not face any consequences - this is the nature of the job. Lyney knew what the consequences were the moment he agreed to infiltrate the prison. In real life, espionage comes with very harsh sentencing - we're talking about decades in prison or even execution. Wriothesley actually let them off extremely lightly. Or would you prefer that Wriothesley be verbally nice to them but lock them in prison for decades?
      Wriothesley did not mess with the Fatui siblings. They messed with him, and he responded in kind. I think you're completely overlooking the fact that they infiltrated his territory and are trying to pry national secrets from him.

    • @notbubblystarters05
      @notbubblystarters05 Год назад +1

      @@Zero-hs5tx Family matters are completely different from business matters. They crossed that line altogether and the whole thing became a mess. If it was just for the country, then sure. But it's been made personal to Lyney then and there. Regardless of what the original plan may have been. Still I agree they knew the consequences the same way a person knows they risk life everyday just going outside. That's true. But it doesn't mean that you'll have to like it when bad stuff actually happens. Specially when it's been connected to something else that's bad that happened in the past. That's a double shot right there. And it also doesn't mean he *planned* to face those consequences. No one truly plans to fail, we make back up plans *for* a better chance of success, as people don't just run head first to make failures. So it *wasn't* truly expected at all or he would have no reason to be surprised it happened. It also doesn't mean it hurts any less and yes. It is TOTALLY possible to feel empathy even for those you call your enemy that fights for the opposite side of your ideals. We've done that for Raiden, for Wanderer, for the visionless soldier enforcing the vision hunt decree, for the Fatui in the Chasm, for Signiora's past, for Caribert and his tortured father, for the hilichurls we kill everyday, for the Abyss soldiers from Khanri'ah, for Childe and his family and so on. I don't know about you, but people have *definitely* sympathized for them. Though I understand it doesn't make them justified, but like I said, the feelings are still there. They're still very real. We empathize because we recognize the pain. It's not like he's banned from feeling emotions just because he's been made Duke. That's why he still did his duty and uphold Lyney's siblings as a trade offer regardless his attempts of appearing soothing. But to a desperate brother, that appeared threatening instead and perspective helps this. There's always more than one of them. That's why I say I may distrust Lyney, but that doesn't immediately mean I like how Wriothesley went about things. Because I understand. Now he didn't have to give in at the moment as he's just doing his job the same way Lyney was, but what about after? He had room for small tea talk, couldn't he have apologized for dangling lives so casually by a thread infront of family? He doesn't have to be sorry for doing what he thinks is right as he has nothing to be sorry for in *that* department. Never said he did. But for treating someone as blackmail against another who cared for that person and who's cared for back so evidently, surely he can see how hurtful that was? Say what you will, but prison and death sentence is not the same as giving someone hope and then keeping it from them to prolong their desperation. It's more akin to torture of the emotional kind. Even if that wasn't his intent. (Again, as I've said.) Sigewinne at least apologized for her actions when no one stepped up to prove she was innocent because she knows she isn't completely. Like everyone else in that room wasn't. But she *didn't* apologize for what she was fighting for and that's perfectly *fine.* That was more than how Wriothesley handled the aftermath, in regards to his Fatui wards. No words to spare after as they're left huddling and licking their wounds. Though you mentioned it earlier and I went along with it, in truth, realism may be known to be a part of good writing, yet, though you keep bringing it up, this is NOT the real world, this is a *video game.* Your scenarios are an "if" and hypotheticals while mine happened to me truly. It is a game, thus it would not follow the harsh punishment for espionage as you told anyways. THAT is to be expected. But the emotions it inflicts on it's audience? Is as lasting and real as it gets. Our engagement that they are responsible for and as I said, as someone who have felt the fear of losing their family once before, it made me feel uncomfortable to watch that scene. It was a surprise to even me. As stated, *no one* expects that, but that's how feelings are and that's how it hits the hardest. When you least expect it. It doesn't make how they went about it less upsetting, yet it also doesn't mean I didn't get why they did it. But it's no less painful to witness and I fear for those who've gone through the same who got hit with that situation without resolution seeing this. That's all. I'm not choosing sides. You make it seem as if I'm doing all this just to bash Wriothesley. But I know BOTH have done something or another. I keep repeating. Though as you focus on Wriothesley's side only and so thus, in exchange, I bring up Lyney's. Even if I'm honestly impartial to both of them as Lyney is not any more trustworthy. But that whole exchange still left an impact and one must be willing to see both sides as I am willing to see parts of your statement as truth. Notice how I concede to some of your points? Ignoring everything just because you don't agree with parts of it is arrogance. The game even says so. Acknowledgement helps so that such hurtful events never happen again or at least, not as frequently. Even in our "real world", as you say. Lyney spied as a fatuus, Wriothesley responded as it was his work place being exposed. Lyney got his past trauma relived, Wriothesley inadvertently added to that. Both committed to their actions, BOTH now must own up to consequences. Lyney already did that by suffering through the whole ordeal as he was due. But what did Wriothesley get? Tea breaks and satisfaction. Wow. What a wonderful message to send to people. Threatening someone's family is *completely* okay when they cross your borders, an apology is overrated, and trauma made light of is fine if it was just an accident. Not like the affected got "hurt" or anything. Surely. To think, I was only solely in this section to comment to OP as they had a point as well and I was only expressing that everything really did escalate for more than it should have. For putting the inmates at risk for just an intel mission in the Fatui's part. For threatening the lives of one's siblings just for the sake of an invite on the Fortress's part. None of it should have gone that far, yet it did. Just like this comment. I really shouldn't need to explain this and yet you made it necessary when I first commented not seeking your response. Life is more than one side. Wriothesley's doing his job. Lyney's doing his. I see you make your points. Now see mine. None are pitted to fight the other. I only seek to clarify and express as commentors wont to do. (To anyone else reading this. Sorry for the long comment, my siblings do say I always write too long when I get passionate.) And you and everyone else have always been free to scroll away. Still you chose mine to tag on, so here is your answer. A response like Wriothesley did, just as you say, when Lyney made it to his front door and to his business as you are in mine. It's not so delightful to experience at all, right? So now you must understand how Lyney felt responding back to what he got with *heat.* As I have a feeling you may respond to this as well. Or not. Prove me wrong. (Or right.) It's fine. You may not even read this fully, but I really, REALLY am not looking for an argument. This has always been made to explain and clear things up. Let us not bother each other and anyone else we've been pinging more or just agree to disagree and part ways. Whatever. You came here looking for an attitude thinking I'm siding with one and so I must be against the other. When I really only did comment for the benefit of Goblingambits196 to see my agreement to begin with that just so happened to be in favor of Lyney at the time. Hope you found the attitude you've been looking for. Now good day and take care on your way out. Hope it's all worth this.

Her using dramatics to mask her insecurities makes sense when you consider the fact that she doesn't have the gnosis and is used to relying on Neuvillette. I think deep down, she's just really scared of not being able to handle the prophecy coming true, not being able to protect herself from threats like Arlecchino, etc. She's also scared of people knowing that she's scared, so she uses overconfidence as a mask. With Neuvillette's confirmation that the powers of the dragon Sovereigns were used to make the gnoses, I think it's worth revisiting a theory from early Genshin. For a long time now, people have suggested that the gnosis Signora took from Venti was fake, and that Venti actually gave his gnosis to Dvalin at the end of the Mondstadt archon quests. Venti blesses Dvalin with anemo power, and the line Dvalin says is "is this... the power of the Anemo Archon?" And some people think that's literal - Venti secretly made Dvalin the Anemo Archon. But given what we know now, I think that's even more likely. Rather than making a new Archon, in my opinion, it's more accurate to say that Venti was trying to reinstate the rule of the Sovereigns by making Dvalin the new Anemo _Sovereign,_ and that this is a twist that's been set up since the beginning of the game. Neuvillette tells us it's possible for a Sovereign to regain their power if it (i.e. the gnosis) is returned to them - and because they've told us that, that means it's definitely going to happen. But it's not going to happen with Neuvillette, because that would be far too obvious. But what if it's _already happened?_

Venti illusions may work on Barbra but it's highly doubtful if they would work on another God or Khaenri'ah mage.
      #2 There is no one hunting for Anemo Gnosis. As I said, it's highly unlikely that no one catch the wind of it being fake for over 2 years by now.

    MAJOR PLOT SPOILERS AHEAD, DO NOT READ IF YOU HAVE NOT FINISHED THE VIDEO!! Right, so here's my theory. All other avenues will fail, furina will have to die for neuvillette to regain his full power. To do so the gnosis (which is according to this new lore bomb basically a "cage" for a chunk of the sovereign dragons' power) will have to be destroyed. In the sumeru archon quest it was outright stated doing so would "incur celestia's wrath"- likely because they use the gnosis as a way of keeping the dragons' power in check. TL;DR, furina has to die, the gnosis will be destroyed to save fontaine from the primordial sea, but in exchange celestial will go full khaenri'ah extermination on fontaine and spark a massive war on teyvat once again.

    Did anyone notice arleccino said im one of eleven harbingers ? It may seem nothing important at first , but remember at this time scara never was a harbinger , he erased himself , so we should have another harbinger in place of him

    • @ForeverDegenerate
      @ForeverDegenerate 11 месяцев назад +2

      If you talk to the Fatui in Monstadt after Scara erased himself (so... now, actually), they mention that his seat has been vacant for a long time. So, no, he wasn't replaced because he actually DID exist, but nobody remembers him. So Irminsul, since it can't just invent something happening that didn't happen, rewrote everyone's memories to "Scara's seat has been vacant for a long time." So even with Scara having deleted himself from Irminsul, 11 positions still exist within the Fatui Harbingers. Arlecchino holds one of those 11 positions, thus, "One of the 11." Also, might I remind you that Childe is the 11th Fatui Harbinger and he still exists. He doesn't magically become the 10th because Scara deleted himself from Irminsul.

    this makes a lot of sense with Furina's double personality and the idea of her not being an actual archon

  • @noramorad560
    @noramorad560 Год назад +3

    Okay I have a theory, if Neuvillette's a dragon and Furina doesn't have the gnosis (by which I mean neither are the true archon) what if Egeria never died, and she's the oratrice? Even if she did die she could've taken the gnosis and used it to put her conscience in the oratrice, which would explain why Furina doesn't know how it works despite allegedly having made it herself, but is confident that the nation will be saved (maybe Egeria had a plan of some sort?). We know it's possible since Rukkehdavata did it with Irminsul, so we could have a similar case here. And that would be why Furina doesn't have the gnosis, it'd be in the oratrice.

    • @ForeverDegenerate
      @ForeverDegenerate 11 месяцев назад +1

      That would make Furina the most incompetent Archon in the game (if she even IS the Archon). Why? Because as we have been told by Neuvillette (so, presumably, Furina knows this to), the "Prophecy" is actually Egeria's Final Judgment of Fontaine. The inference here is that the flooding of Fontaine by the Primordial Sea IS Egeria's plan. And this makes even more sense if you consider that when Neuvillette sealed the sluice to the Primordial Sea, it is possible the person he was "speaking" to was the person whom he knew to be the one judging and sentencing Fontaine: Hydro Archon Egeria. It would stand to reason that Neuvillette was apologizing to Egeria for temporarily overruling her authority.

    So if gnosis is what grants an archon the "authority" the dragons once had, and greatly buffs their powers, what does it mean for the Electro Archon who "doesn't need it anymore"? And if the seven sovereigns can have "successors", I can only think of Zhongli's dragon form, his age and his secret that he can't tells because of the contract.

    2:03:53 - as said, we have his vision and it’s still active. If he would’ve died, it wouldn’t be active anymore, like the one from Kazuhas friend. So, the definition of „save“ lies on everyone of their own, al least we know that he ist still alive

    • @ForeverDegenerate
      @ForeverDegenerate 11 месяцев назад

      Well given the 4.2 Special Program, we now know Childe is, very much, alive. But I just wanted to point out that, by your own logic, Childe could have, very much, been dead. To throw your reasoning back at you, Kazuha was able to re-activate his dead friend's Vision when he faced The Raiden Shogun. Whose to say the Traveler wasn't doing to same for Childe's Vision? Again, we know this is not the case and that Childe is alive, but I just wanted to point this out to give you food for thought.

    Arle saying that Furina doesn't have the Gnosis (which I suspected) but that she seems to be cursed... well I personally find it suspicious that Furina's hair is glowing all (most of?) the time, normally the Archons hairs only glow when they use their elemental powers.
    And then I remembered the Narzissenkreuz questline with Mary-Ann and Ann. What if Furina is like that as well. That this Furina is Ann instead of Mary-Ann.
    (I don't want to write too much about the questline and the characters in case someone hasn't played it yet.)
    I have to say though Arle saying neither Furina nor Neuvillette seem like Archons based on the Tsaritsa is ridiculous. I mean look at Venti! Or Zhongli. Like no one would have doubted that Morax was the Geo Archon but I am sure he was/is nothing like the Tsaritsa.
    Btw. I would love for Neuvillette to get his full powers back at some point and being even more of an absolute badass!
    Also Childe wth have you gotten yourself into!? But imagine Childe becomes the Hydro Archons *laughs*
