    Bratta is the best. Loved that he put melody first and foremost. The guy’s a legend and probably doesn’t even know it.

      One of a handful of respected virtuoso's! I wish he would do a shredder tour like Steve Vai, Satriani it would be so awesome just to see him doing his thing again

    It's sad that one of the great guitarist Vito Bratta left music. Such a great talent. I love his tapping technique and melodic solo. He inspires me to pick and play guitar.

    This is a song called Blue Monday from White Lion's Mane Attraction album. But that solo Vito plays from about the 4:15 mark is not on the album. Sounds amazing... great guitar playing by Vito.

      @Victor Sage could be but remember Jimmy Page of Led Zeppelin, Ritchie Blackmore of Deep Purple was before Gary Moore even he was influenced by them and Peter Green I love Gary Moore he was a true master in guitar ...by the way Vito Bratta for me he is the New Eddie Van Halen

    These days, anything with Vito on it is worth listening to. What a player he was and there isn't nowhere near enough documented anywhere. Cheers, that was awesome!

    Vito is on my Top 5 of Hard Rock, along with Nuno Bettencourt, Paul Gilbert, Eddie Van Halen and Richie Kotzen.

      Back then you had to be original sound,style,technique etc Vito had that in spades ! The progression in his playing just kept getting better as time went on and Not only is he a great guitar player but he seems like a real humble guy as well

    Jesus Christ this is a tasty jam. I remember listening to Mane Attraction and Big Game over and over in the early 90s. Vito is criminally underrated.

    Was a huge fan of Vito back when I heard Pride for the first time. When Mane Attraction came out, I was like "oh.. so Vito pretty much went into the studio said.. I'll take over from here"...When I heard this, I was like wow, I know this is a tribute for SRV but man this has a lot of Gary Moore in it..

      I saw Gary Moore open up for the Scorpions back in the day, 16th row, center floor, he's playing, everyone is just milling about, I don't think the lights were even all the way down, and he's just up there shredding! So I stood up, started pointing at him, I recognize talent..Gonna listen to it right now!

      You're not alone....I could cry listening to all his solos.....touches your heart and soul ...
      more than 30 yers on. I love it when it's on video where I could see him playing and moving his fingers...so mesmerizing.

    That' s why he could make the guitar sang and cried...
    One of the most underated guitarist in the world...
    None can be like him...
    Unfortunatelly he gave up in playing music...
    It is So sad...

    Back then, I remember being told to put elongated “feel based solos” into live performances to give people a chance to get beer. It’s the people that went to get beer that later and still say, “less is more”. That’s when I understood music consumers.

    The only other guitarists I've ever heard capable of making a guitar cry like this are Jimi Hendrix, Carlos Santana, Randy Rhoads, B.B. King and SRV himself. He's in my top 5.

    Vito Bratta Is One of Kind... Very Unique and Special... There is no one guitarist want to take his place if Mike Tramp want to resemble or Re Group or reunited White Lion... His melodic approach very different from other guitarist... We can see through all his solos... His Untouchable as far as i'm concern....

    even though he used to be aligned with Paul Gilbert and Steve Vai, unfortunately he was injured and accompanied his parents who were so sick that they never appeared again during his heyday

    Vito replaced EVH as my favorite guitarist when I heard White Lion in 1988. And I was a die hard VH fan. Never bothered to get into Rhoads (Until the Tribute album came out), Hendrix, Blackmore, Page, Clapton or any of the other "guitar gods". To me, it was Eddie or nothing. Yeah I liked others like Brad Gillis, Satch and Vai, but Vito took 1st place from Eddie.

    Vito does not get nor did he get the "guitar god" treatment that others had gotten, like Jimi, Eddie or BB but he should've, he didn't have the EVH solos on WL tracks but I guess that wasn't their style, don't know, but he's better than what he got recognized for, please return

    Don’t get me wrong Vito is one of my favorites but his vibrato can sound a little warbly at times , I don’t get it because he so solid everywhere else ..

      dolphinzrwj1 He said in an interview, family health problems and hurt one of his hands. Felt something pop and couldn’t play anymore.

    He's almost as good as the guitar master Neil Young. I heard a documentary saying when Neil mastered the guitar, I busted out laughing!

    So typical - plays great when playing as fast as lightening. But slow him down and note selection, phrasing and vibrato go out the window.
