Have not heard of this series. Thank you for the clips and making me aware of the show. Looks beautiful, but with probably a very sad ending dictated by history. Still would watch it. 👍
This 4 part mini-series is the best thing I have seen in years. It leaves you on the edge of your seat throughout the continuation; I couldn't stop watching it, it was compelling, moving, spellbinding, and beyond beautiful. The lead character, Frannie, is breathtaking and her acting is brilliant as is her co-star the great Madame M.B. The storyline is well-documented; although Fiction is very believable and could also be taken as non-fiction. The history was carefully studied by the author of the book and so there are many elements to the story as to why it could very easily have happened. I was so taken and deeply and profoundly moved by the series, that I bought the book as soon as finished binging it. The book is a page-turner and I finished it in 12 hours with 350 pages; that's how brilliant it was. With only minor differences between the book, to the series. It took my breath away. Frannie, the lead character is insanely beautiful. I couldn't take my eyes off her and I honestly believed that no one could have played her character than her. Whoever chose her for the lead role deserves an Oscar. A must-see!!

This 4 part mini-series will have you at the edge of your seat. It's a love story more than history itself; it's breathtaking, compelling and beautiful. I loved it so much that I ended up buying the book of the same title and read it in 12 hours with 375 pages in it, it was that good. It's the best series I've watched this far.

I got a VPN to access this series and its quite good. The lesbian relationship is part of it but be prepared for strong content about the brutality dished out to women and people of color in the 1820’s. This film is heart wrenching and will stay with you.
