I love watching your videos! I'm also a city prepper and I live in Little Rock, Arkansas USA. You're able to buy such a wonderful variety of canned foods that I haven't seen here! It also seems that there isn't as much crap added to your foods to keep you sick and staying on the Big Pharma hamster wheel. I miss the small shops that were absorbed by the conglomerates. So I support local farmers as much as possible, grow what I can on my little deck out back and happily pay extra for organic since I enjoy being healthy! 😊❤

@@marciahawthorne4201 Great to have another American prepper in our little tribe. Yes, unfortunately the FDA allows all manner of nasties into your food supply, it's happening across the west, but particularly bad in the USA. I sincerely hope that Kennedy is everything he says he is. Could turn it around. 🤞.
The American prepping channels who do prepping food hauls from time to time, fascinates us here too? So many different options that we can't get. Glad to hear that you are growing what you can. A longer growing season where you are? (I think?) So more scope. Keep on doing what you're doing my friend. Much love from us across the pond. 🇬🇧💜🇺🇸🌱

@rosehippyguy3402 do try it. I see so many comments on preppers and carnivore sites about fish-phobia. My OH is a real fish phobic, been gagging since the age of 2 just looking at fish fingers etc. But most people seem to have a learned response to sardines, which is really easy to challenge especially if you eat other fish. Anyhoo, don't worry, that's more for me! I will eat a tin for a snack instead of toast or crisps, and is a lot healthier.

Empty two cans of Chicken in white sauce into a bowl. Add 2 cans of sliced carrots. 1 tin of chicken soup. Heat up either in microwave or on the stove. Add 1 sachet of Aldi/Lidl chicken casserole powder mix.
Heat them all up fully together.

We have an allergy in the family. And 2020 plus brought not finding certain things in the store. It was like late 1970’s in the U.S. So we stock up certain things for that. Also live in U.S. where we get snow so always try and have stuff on hand. Have the room to store it.
Sadly a health issue came up unexpected. The ER was shocked to be fair weight fine, active lifestyle, young, always goes to annual physical never smoked, don’t drink it was quite a surprise. Many things fine. EVOO, plain oatmeal, tuna, rice…but lots of things I had to pitch that were open already like salt or donate to food pantry or give to neighbors like the frozen butter and som frozen entrees. And we are now stockpiling more nuts, frozen fish and tuna for the pantry than we ever did before. So don’t buy more than 3 months of curry sauces if you are not willing to part with them. Almost every canned fruit and canned veg and canned soup is off limits in the regular version. Olive and black beans okay but I would rinse the beans. No boxes for baking are okay. I donated soy sauce but who knows how helpful that is. The food pantry made out well.

@@kristinesharp6286 hi Kristine. Sorry to hear about your health problems. I hope it becomes something that you can overcome? Illnesses are things that we could all do without right now.
The curry sauces are being used gradually and are over a year past their best before dates. I've been using up a considerable amount of out of date food over the last 6 months or so and I've been ok, it's been an interesting learning curve for me to figure out what I trust and what to throw away, as I don't like wastage. I just cook the food for longer. Whilst trying to grow as much variety of food as possible and then find ways to preserve some of it. Also building, very gradually, my knowledge of foraging to supplement my stockpile.
Sounds like you're doing a great job. We have all learned so much over the last 4-5 years, which will help us get through these crazy times.
Sending love and light from across the pond. 👊🇬🇧💜🇺🇸👊🌱

Only in moderation of course. Make sure it doesn’t have a high salt content as well. So when you open a tin you can split it three ways. DO YOUR OWN RESEARCH ha ha. Thai cousine is the best in the world in my humble opinion. Nice haul prices going through the roof were definitely in a cost of living crisis and its worsening every week.
