I think 90% of galaxy S series users will change resolution to 1080p no matter how big the original native resolution is. Even S20, S20+, S20 Ultra, Note 20 Ultra, and many other phones with a QHD resolution default out of the box to FHD+ anyway
@@CornyEveryth1ng to be all fair there isn't much any difference the only thing that comes down is the resolution its just the s21 ultra has a tat higher resolution and bigger screen
Good review!!! However, I'm still puzzled as to why this phone even exists. I'm also questioning the smaller of the S21 as it is now. In any case Samsung should have released just 2 at most with the exact same features just different in sizes (6.0-6.2 and 6.7-6.8inches). This would have made more sense.
@@patcasias6556 The S21 and the S21 plus are a waste of materials and completely unnecessary when you already have the S20FE and the rest of The S20s for the same price or less.
@@Soto-Tech2020 yeah. For people who want the s20s. I personally love the design of the s21. We all have our own opinion. Don't get it confused with fact
Its hilarious that Samsung is giving 25 fast watt charger with mid range models which people buy more but not in S21 series where we have to pay more than 1000 bucks if they really want control E garbage so they need to stop charger with mid range phones where people need to pay much less and people buy mid range in millions of units but they should give charger in S21 line up coz of high prices and less sales compare to mid ranger
I have a lot of questions 1. Which mid ranger Samsung phone has/had a 25w charger? They all come with 15w, no? 2. The Mid rangers, especially the A50 series are their best selling phones, they lose all the premium part to Apple. If Samsung wants people to continue buying their A50 lines, you bet your ass they are going to include chargers. 3. If you are already paying 1000 dollars for a phone, the chances are, you already might have a 25w or higher charger, or some sort of USB C charging brick. In my country, Samsung is offering a 50 discount for 25W chargers for anyone that purchases the new S21 series. Sure they could have just included them in the box, but I have plenty of chargers that I still use, and that choice of not having chargers in the box contributed to lowering the price of the phone, which I am much more happy. Also, you don't HAVE to buy a 25w or higher charger from Samsung too. Just get whatever company that makes them cheaper than Samsung.
@@amit9838831064 Huh, I guess I never knew the M series that much since it is pretty much an Indian exclusive device. That said, the M51 has a 25w charger because it has a 7000mah battery. I can definitely understand that. Charging that with a 15w power brick would take forever.
If you are buying flagships is it not obvious you can afford to buy another charger if you need to? But if you are buying a $250-400 device then you maybe have less disposable income so a charger is included. Seems pretty obvious to me! Hopefully, in time Samsung will stop all included chargers as there must be tens of millions sitting around, effectively e-waste.
I hope for next year Samsung makes the S22+ and Ultra Galaxy smaller. I would like to see the following sizes: S22 (6.2"), S22+ (6.5") and S22 Ultra (6.7"). Also the 2400×1080 screen resolution on the S21+ is not match for the screen size, you can see the pixels specially if you change the font size to a bigger size and if you change the screen mode to natural, it looks terrible when you compare it to the S20 with the same resolution and screen mode. I can't recommend the S21+.
IMO silver looked super cheap and tacky esp the mismatched camera cutout.. the pastel colors are all so ugly, wish they went with a few vibrant colors or darker sleek ones seems targeted for female customers. anyways black looks best but i dislike how all the pics ive seen its too noticable of imperfections pop. pretty dissapointed by that. oh and it doesnt even matter to 96% of buyers cause a phone case is gonna cover it anyways, unless you get a clear tacky case
You should mention that having 3 lenses is a marketing scam: this phone has no optical zoom and I literally returned for a s21 ultra after two days of use! Not to mention the downgrade in RAM and screen resolution from previous generations.
@@privacyhelp I'm sorry my friend, but it has already been well proven. And if you need more proof, try taking a 64Mpx photo, you'll notice it'll use the "Tele" lens with no zoom, because it won't crop in that mode
S21+ seems a tough buy. I think the extra £200 would be money well spent and a good investment if you are keeping your phone for 3-4 years, an extra £1 a week? Saying that, Samsung has not won me over with the s21 line and my suggestion to all non-Samsung superfans is to wait for the many incoming phones that will offer more value and better specs than the s21+. Samsung should have by then adjusted its price to a more reasonable competitive level. The release price should be preserved strictly for the Samsung Fanclub who buy Samsung every cycle. No one that knows anything about phones would buy the s21+ at $1000 when in a few months it will be $750 or less to compete with OP8P, OPPO Find X3, Mi11 Pro, Xperia 1 mk 3, etc.
At the end of the day it's all about user experience and a lot people just like OneUI so rather you buy the S21 or another Samsung, they still win average consumer don't care about specs one reason why Sony phones don't sell even know they may have better hardware people care user experience & ecosystem

It's the same old same old ; in just a mere couple of months it'll be outdated. A phone, is a phone is a phone.
The 1080p Resolution on such a big device sets me off.
I guess I'll wait till the Ultra gets around 900-800€.

@@AndiMon64 Samsung might let you trade in phone for credit on ultra.
I got the ultra but ultimately gave it back for the s21 plus because it's flat screen, lightweight and the screen is pretty good. The ultra has the best screen I have ever seen.
@@marufio i have the ultra for 2 month now and i love it.
I think 90% of galaxy S series users will change resolution to 1080p no matter how big the original native resolution is. Even S20, S20+, S20 Ultra, Note 20 Ultra, and many other phones with a QHD resolution default out of the box to FHD+ anyway

I have a lot of questions
@@03Chris25 lol just check Samsung M31s and M51
@@amit9838831064 Huh, I guess I never knew the M series that much since it is pretty much an Indian exclusive device. That said, the M51 has a 25w charger because it has a 7000mah battery. I can definitely understand that. Charging that with a 15w power brick would take forever.
@@03Chris25 My A71 came with a 25 watt fc. Glad I don't need to get another charger when my S21 arrives.

@@MohamedMostafa-or5iv i ended up going with s21 ultra. Could get one for a good deal from my provider and with 256gb.
Very well said! 🙂
It's not the screen size it's the weight of the ultra that throws me off it needs to lose weight and be flat screen
I just got an iphone 11 a few months ago and it’s going bye bye , Hello s21+
IMO silver looked super cheap and tacky esp the mismatched camera cutout.. the pastel colors are all so ugly, wish they went with a few vibrant colors or darker sleek ones seems targeted for female customers. anyways black looks best but i dislike how all the pics ive seen its too noticable of imperfections pop. pretty dissapointed by that. oh and it doesnt even matter to 96% of buyers cause a phone case is gonna cover it anyways, unless you get a clear tacky case

What's the difference between the S21 and S21+
@@wityenthaoWell I just order the S21 Not the plus though is it still good
Size and battery ditto and glass back is the things that differs.
The s21 is compact only 6.2 inch while the plus is 6.7 inch.
You should mention that having 3 lenses is a marketing scam: this phone has no optical zoom and I literally returned for a s21 ultra after two days of use! Not to mention the downgrade in RAM and screen resolution from previous generations.
I would love the ultra but it was too bulky and heavy.

Thanks! Great video 🤩

1080p screen in 2021 ? ... No thanks.
Seems like a downgrade from my S10+ .
I thought the same, I had an s10 and just got an s21 and let me tell you the 120 hertz screen is unbelievably better. Its all around a great upgrade from the 10 series, I highly recommend it.
@@cscreezyproductions people are judging this 1080P 120hz screen without even using it. I bet 99 Percent people will prefer 1080P 120hz screen rather than 1440p 60hz screen. Because smoothness is all that matters!
I changed from a S9+ to the S21+ about a week ago and all I can say is, the s9+ has a great screen and when put in WQHD mode the display is very colorful, sharp ,an incredible display . I thought 1080p would be a downgrade but let me tell you , it doesn't matter. Somehow the screen feels much better , of course if you put a very high definition video on with WQHD and you really look for details , you might spot them but on a daily basis usage , I doubt anyone would notice them too much. All I can say is that the screen feels very responsive, with 120hz it's so responsive. You have to try it to realize why it's worth giving it a go.
