Interesting format addition of comparing new to old models, would like to see more.
P.S. it would be better to split screens for a few moments when comparing interior & exterior design cues, etc.

    Hello,
I purchased a GLC 400e with the AMG Premium package on January 26, 2023. After two months, I experienced issues with the transmission controllers. In fact, the gearbox repeatedly failed at high speeds, especially above 160 kilometers per hour, causing significant stress and concern for my own safety and that of my family while driving on the highway. This serious risk of an accident has put me and my family in danger.
After four attempts to diagnose the problem by Mercedes, starting from June 21, my vehicle has been at the Mercedes service center in Aschaffenburg, Germany. However, unfortunately, they do not have the necessary parts for the repair, and I am forced to wait until July 31. Undoubtedly, this lengthy delay has left me extremely dissatisfied and angry with Mercedes.
Until today, despite sending multiple emails to Mercedes and filling out their form, they have not made any contact or taken any actions to address my concerns and seek my satisfaction.

Well.... according to BENZ you make enough money to deal with the bullshit they are giving you.
Like you I have a GLC and I'm NO longer going to be buying a Benz UNLESS it's used, they DON'T hold value and they give horrible problems.
But hey you want luxury right????
My Corolla is literally a better vehicle in every way! AND it hold more value than a benz!

@@johnnyr-518 My neighbour's Macan S has been in the shop for over 4 months while they try to fix a transmission problem. To their credit though, they have supplied him with another Macan to drive in the meantime.

has anyone been experiencing 48 volt battery suddenly failing or shutting off on these in Australia? It seems like many American-spec GLC have this problem

Does it have cooled/ventilated seats? Nearly all Lexus have them. They are an essential for our hot summers.

In Australia the GLC300 comes standard with front seat heating, but ventilated seats seats aren't offered either standard or as an option.

With the interior improvements, the removal of that problematic air suspension and the re-inclusion of a spare tyre. MB ha significantly improved this car/ Question : Does it have a CVT gearbox or a torque converter one?

    • @Drivecomau
      @Drivecomau  Год назад

The new GLC uses a version of a previous model's transmission. A nine-speed torque converter automatic.

I know - I wish I had a garage like this! This is actually Mercedes' virtual showroom, so it's more of a studio than a garage! Thanks for watching :)

Australia nowadays car market looks like a dumping ground for cheaper Chinese, Korean and Japanese cars or SUVs .
While the European pricey vehicles like Mercedes,Volvo, VW,Audi,BMW, Skoda,Peugeot are not much in number
Sad day for Aussie who use to own good robust and larger continental cars to now cheaper, less robust, smaller import cars from Asia with less performance in downsizing.
How marvellous now when Holden and Ford ,true local Aussie manufactured cars are no longer available now taken over for a ride by Toyota. Toyota is neither good or bad either compare to GM Holden and Ford of the yesterday.
    Really sad for Aussie .

I think they shot themselves in the foot by only offering 1 engine type. The 300 petrol is not as efficient as the competition and the EQC is so ugly.. Seems like this generation is a stop gap for Mercedes..
