    I really liked the module works deburr toolpath when I ran mastercam. It seems nearly as good ported to fusion 360. It's good limiting it to 3 axis, or 3+2, and using a plain ballnose. I did get a little annoyed when it was locked into the machining extension. I was under the impression they might leave the 3 axis option outisde the extension, but that was just the proving out phase, before they locked it. Same with rotary contour, and rotary pocket. I can't justify the cost of the machining extension at the moment, but hopefully if I get some nice jobs in that need simultaneous four.

    Sorry that this doesn't really pertain to the contents of your video but I just wanted to say this. Quite a while ago someone recommended I check out your channel to get a little more insight on fusion 360 to help myself learn and man everything went over my head. After screwing around with it trial and error, and doing RUclips tutorials I actually watched this video and understood the majority of what was going on, even though this was cam based, really really cool. I'm really excited to finally be at a point I can understand things and possibly even do some of these things in the future!! Very good explanation on how to use this feature and useful tips!!!! :D

    Been playing around with this toolpath on our 4th axis machines lately and its a gamechanger for faster deburring and removing so much hand deburring outside of the machine! Absolutely love it. I have an unrelated question about using Fusion in your shop John, are you still allowed to use fusion for ITAR and other work that requires confidentiality? We're currently going through the process of getting ITAR, ISO, and AS certified and was wondering if I'll have to use Inventor with the CAM extension for jobs that are strict on those sorts of things. Thankfully like 95% of the workflow crosses over pretty easily but still annoying to have to deal with it if Fusion doesn't meet the standards since its a cloud based software.

    It's weird how you always happen to have videos about stuff I did or learned last week.

    I have trouble running simulation is a nice slow progression like you do. Mine just zip through super fast. Seems the only thing I can do is toggle it one step at a time which is really time consuming. Any suggestions? thanks

      Is your slider turned down?

      @@matthewvanlew5891 I think what I was doing wrong I was running the slider down past the midway point thinking that would slow it down. I happen to stumble on just putting it to the right of the mid point and it works fine now. Thanks Matthew.

    Yea the deburr toolpath from module works is great. Does fusion have check surfaces for this toolpath? Surfaces that you tell the tool to stay away from?

    • @kristiankautto7616
      @kristiankautto7616 Год назад

      you can tell it to stay away from edges if you use automatic select

      @@kristiankautto7616 i run the module works deburring cycle in gibbscam. It does the auto detect or manual selection but also has check surfaces, with amount of stock to leave on the surfaces. Helps in tight spots where the ball may cut something adjacent
