This reminds me of a guy i knew who opened up a restaurant in my city. He used to give heavy discounts to people he knew.He was a type of guy who just can't say no. People he knew started pouring in and eventually he had to shut down because of all the leachers.Always keep business and emotions away from each other he was really kind guy i never saw him again.
Regular bonuses tend to be an extra drink for free if you ask, a slightly taller stack of fries, an extra dumpling, more toppings or cheese, extra guac... The benefit of these is that unaware people just feel happy, aware people feel happier and feel a sort of "this is our thing between us" vibe, and most importantly, its something a small business run by a generous and honest guy can absorb without burning down. Poor guy had the wrong way of being generous, and its a shame life doesnt let people just be good any way they want.
In an episode of Cleveland Show, a dog shows up looking identical to Brian but with a blue collar instead of a red one. He claims to be mistaken for Brian a lot but it’s not him. I theorize that that dog is Elliot.
I think this is a common issue that comes up in the show Bar Rescue. In one episode, while the bar owner was drinking along, he was basically providing free drinks to people he doesn't even know. It came to the point where people are returning just for free drinks leading to a major loss in money. In Kitchen Nightmares with Gordon Ramsay this is also another case that happens when restaurant owners bring over friends to the restaurant.
In my uni town there was an unexpectedly diverse array of restaurants next to the campus, but for some odd reason not an Italian one. My friend decided to open one there as a side hustle thinking it was a unique opportunity. He gave certain folks discounts or even comped meals to drum up traffic & optics. But eventually when his special offers ran out, his lack of real restaurant experience started to show and eventually he had to close the place down. I wonder if he kept any meatballs in his jacket 🤔
No of course you weren't, that would be fucking silly. Also, it's only an Easter Egg if it's fleeting and/or in the corner of the screen somewhere away from the viewers attention, they literally had a whole shot of them for 10 seconds as an actual gag.
I just would like to see the face of an American, the first time he/she seat in a restaurant in Italy!🤭 No free ice water, no meatball pasta, no cream in the carbonara, no pineapple, no chicken and no shaker of stinky “parmesan cheese” on the pizza and horror of horrors, normal size (small for you) servings of pasta not floating in sauce. BTW The service charge is called “coperto” on the bill and no you can’t remove it, like zero tip, because they didn’t accommodate your requests for the pineapple on the pizza.🙄🤭
There are many Americans who are cultured and well traveled. I was not shocked by any of this in Italy and ate like the locals. To generalize a population of 330 million as ignorant is ironic.
I've been thinking that going to a bank is smart. You don't have to give your kickstarters back their money and there's no interest. It's just free money.
So many kickstarter campaigns do this. There's a guy who has been involved in about 7 or 8 kickstarters and just paid people to do animations of some future invention that they can't build because it technically won't work. Actually I bet the animators aren't even getting paid.
no they didn't hate you guys they are leachers nothing good can come from that, thats why if i were to ever open a restaurant, i wouldn't because of these type of people if you don't like the food or if its not to your liking don't eat there 🙄

Bills are sent by waiters.
That's real sad. If someone was truly a friend they would want to support said business by paying and choosing to go on the regular.

I love when Family Guy breaks the 4th wall for a second “this is a bad start, to whatever it is we are doing”
Too bad FSJ has passed on cuz I kind of liked the episodes he was in :(
I didn’t expect the Cheers reference at the end.
Am i the only one who saw the sopranis easter egg with paulie, tony and silvio?

That ma thing was good as peter's.

I mean, they could have just sold the restaurant rather than destroy it. But I guess for Brian and Stewie that wasn’t an option in their opinion
They were trying to cash in on the insurance money... Easy to cash in than trying to sell
Lady guga
This is just brilliant.

We always called the pre-shredded store-bought cheese "parmeesian," so we wouldn't sully the name of real parmesan.
Calm down it’s not that serious. The food in Italy IS astounding but we have pretty damn good Italian American food.
