  • Are theses 2011 ford mustang gt worth it in 2023? Many might think their slow or outdated. But here's just a few reasons why I love these s197, 11-14 mustangs and what to look for when buying these mustangs.
    Hey my names Stephen and my RUclips channel is and mostly going to be based around the 2011 Ford Mustang GT. Why subscribe?, there's a lot of creativity bubbled in my head and now I think im at a point in life where I can share it to the world, I'm a very honest and straight up person. I love cars especially the ford mustang especially especially the 2011 body style and a couple years ago I was able to purchase one of my own. In this video I'm going to give you a few tips and tricks and also things to consider and keep in mind when recording or filming your car.

Brembo brake package, short throw shifter, glass roof, saddle interior with heated seats. 19” wheels. 3:73 gears. Etc. I have since purchased a 13’ Boss. So I’ll be selling it, but I’ll miss it! Nice ride and appreciate the video. I’m definitely looking at the pump and driveshaft now that you mentioned. I bought my 2011 a couple months ago with 99k, she’s looks great inside and out and sounds so sexy lol. It has some mods but all I can tell you is a intake, exhaust and some kind of tune as it has a svt sticker in the door jam. I definitely need to get a Coyote owner to go over it with me and tell me exactly what I got. Great looking car and I love the wheel color with the dark blue 👍 You got my attention when you said the DW pump was one of your favorite mods I have to ask why that is? I also noticed you didn't have much to say about the boss intake was it not what you expected? I have a 14 with the same mods plus headers, gear and converter it's a fun car for now 😁👍 I subbed and showing support 😀

    • @Grizzly5.0
      @Grizzly5.0  Год назад +5

      First starters thank you I appreciate the support🙏🏽 and the DW pump is a mod I wish I would’ve done first I’m full bolt on besides the long tube headers and the pump is the most recent modification I’ve done and after driving a few miles before wide open throttle I felt such a different in not only performance but also idle and throttle response it’s one of those mods I rarely hear about but it’s a modification I feel is one if the the most important support for any build. The 302 Manifold is a good add on and a good practice for car lovers that want more hands on when it comes to wrench work and when I first installed it and tuned it I definitely felt a difference and was satisfied, still to today I’m satisfied with the 302. And love to see a fellow 11-14 mustang owner these are going rare and just want to keep these types of s197 body styles alive.

    This is one of my favorite Mustangs. I love the refresh they did here. When it had the 4.6 it was pushing out a now "puny" hp rating. Compared to the new Camaro's 6.2 425hp engine. Because of the lighter weight of the Mustang, reviewers praised the Mustang GT with the PP2 Track package vs the Camaros numb driving experience. The new Camaro didn't run from the Mustang like they thought it would. Especially around a track where the Mustang came out on top. This was obviously before chevy got serious about a track focused Camaro. Then Ford put the new 5.0 in the Mustang. Still not making as much power, the weight advantage gave it plenty to beat the camaro on the track. It was the first time for the new 5.0 and I don't know if they initially had any reliability issues. From what I remember it was pretty reliable out of the gate.

    • @Grizzly5.0
      @Grizzly5.0  Год назад +6

      73 miles is pretty good I’ve got mine for 65k and now it’s at 75k and the only true maintenance I had was to replace the timing belt cover which leaked a bunch of oil(it was the previous owners fault bought a bad gasket) other than that I’ve only done work for Performance or cosmetics. These coyotes last quite a bit if you treat the engine and transmission right. I haven’t changed the clutch yet no slippage nothing wrong. If you take care of these it’ll run perfect even around 200k that I’ve seen. For now I suggest going for these s197s it’s a great bang for your buck and with any maintenance or parts it comes pretty easy and straight forward. Thank you for subscribing btw, I very much appreciate it🙏🏽❤️ if there’s any other questions just lmk

  • @DmoneyTwenty

    • @Grizzly5.0
      @Grizzly5.0  Год назад +3

      The MT82 is perfect when treated right of course like any other transmissions when taking a pretty big beating when either tracking,drag racing or anything hard it can wear out pretty quickly without doing slight modifications to the transmission, as a daily and cruising it’s a perfect and well equipped transmission. There’s a joke amongst car enthusiasts that the MT82 is a “glass transmission” because of people abusing the gears. So as long as you treat it right the only repairs along the road is the usual with all transmissions (just from my knowledge personally and from what I’ve heard)
