    Even if you WERE trying to sell us these products no one should get on your ass about it! Mijello make AMAZING products and if they ever paid you to give a review I don't see a problem in that. Now if the paints were bad then I think people take up an issue but they aren't.
    People need to chiiillll. It's not selling out if she loves the products!

    I don't see the problem getting paid to do reviews if their honest reviews. Though arguing about watercolors just sounds like a lul. There should be a blog dedicated to screen shots of people arguing about these petty things. I am sure it would get a lot of traffic.

    • @PearFleur
      @PearFleur  8 лет назад +17

      ilike pi Not too sure! I think I didn't like how most watercolor books had meh paper in them and when I handmade my watercolor sketchbook with good paper, i treated it too seriously.. The global arts sketchbook takes a lot of water if you handle it well and the paper is just nice to do a lot of studies in.

    • @madelynmorgan2999
      @madelynmorgan2999 8 лет назад +33

      +ColoBeans honey is a binder for watercolor paint, kind of like gum Arabic! I mean you could try using glue, I don't know if it would work out.... I'd be worried it might mess with the paint or something. honey is something that works with the paint, so there's no harm if it gets mixed in, if that makes sense

    PearFleur have you tried the Mossery watercolour sketchbook? I would love to see you review it or if you have already point me to your video (I looked)! I recently got one and it's been a blessing for watercolor sketches, the paper is thick and has a cp tooth, you can do many layers and paint on both sides without bleeding - it's probably my favourite paper I've used so far ❤️

    If you have a tape runner or adhesive dots you can put a bit on the bottom of your cake that keeps falling out, then press it back down and that should hold it. I have a Prima watercolor set and a couple of my cakes kept falling out. I ran some tape from a tape runner a couple of times on the back of them and they are staying in place.

    Loose pan tip... lightly abraid the bottom of the pan with a scouring pad, add a few drops of water to the pan and wet the bottom of the dry pan paint before re inserting it. Adding a drop of glycerine to the water in the bottom of the empty pan can help keep it tacky if you have a really persistent offender.

    This format is my favorite format at all time, it's also easier for you to make videos too. I think when you first film the footage and then voiceover to fit it, it kinda a challenge so if you able to continue with this format I would suggest it. And yes, almost everyone here find your voice calming, artistic and nice, I'm one of them. Your voice make me feel you're a "true painter", have no idea how to explain but love your voice so much :))))))

    For your paints that come loose in your palette, just put a drop of honey in the bottom of the section and your paint will stick to it. It won't harm the paint as many paints are mixed with honey.

    I LOVE LOVE LOVE mijello. Beautiful vibrant colors that dry beautifully, I personally have yet to find a brand that can beat their vibrancy. I do love a fair share of other brands (Daniel Smith, Sennelier, Schminke are some of my go-to paints) but I guess they all have different pros and cons therefore I use them according to what I’m gonna paint~

    Hi, I have a question regarding the Mission Gold paints that I hope you can help me with. I'm fairly new to watercolor and trying to figure out which hues to use for my primary warms and cools. I have for the cool side Lemon Yellow, Perm Rose, and Prussian Blue since I don't have a Pthalo blue and Yellow Ochre, Vermilion, and Ultramarine for my warms. Is this correct? Are there better choices? Love the paints, a bit confused though. Thanks for any help that you can give.

    Hello, I do some watercolor painting from time to time, but I work with acrylics most often. When I do work with watercolors I really enjoy using water color pencils or Brusho pigment powders. Have you ever work with either of these products? Brusho can be quite expensive but a little really goes a long way. The nice thing about Brusho is that you can do some wonderful effects with it. I'd love to know if you've ever used it and if so how do you use it? Take care, Dee😊👍
