Transmission has been holding up great so far! I still haven't launched the car from a stop which has definitely kept it healthy. I've also been changing the trans fluid twice a year since I've owned it.
hey there i just intalled my grimmspeed intake on my 2017 wrx, and i hear a pinging sound when my rpm drops to 1800, just wondering if you have the issue. thanks. Planning to track my car next year to. Thank you for your time.
Can you describe the pinging? Also, did you tune for the intake?
@@WRXGarage it's like a seat belt chime but very subtle and kinda higher pitched. And can hear it coming from the intake side. And no it's not tuned yet.
Could be some kind of rattle or something mechanical. Fyi, you 100% need a tune to safely drive the car with any brand of intake on it. Do you have an Accessport for monitoring DAM and Knock?
