    I got them at half price yesterday, seems much more reasonable than $300. I had the first prime X without the strung upper, had 500 miles in them. Hopefully they can be equal durable this time.

      That’s an incredible deal! I’d snag another pair for myself if I found them at that price. I’m still loving them for faster efforts. Thanks for watching!

    I actually prefer V2 to the V1 strung. It's more stable and the toe spring is more aggressive which leads to running feeling easier. Don't really feel the extra weight. Really gravitating to this shoe on all my longer runs and even easy runs if I feel tired.

    • @TZCJames
      @TZCJames  Год назад +1

      We’re on the same page- I only notice the extra weight if I am consciously thinking about it. Both are great shoes but the V2 is better suited for me.

    Currently trawling RUclips on The PX2 strung and came across your wonderful review. How many miles have you clocked up now and is the outsole still holding up? I had the OG prime X and the outsole seemed to last forever, but these look more like the adios pro 3. Thank you for any help you can provide, keep up the good work!

    • @TZCJames
      @TZCJames  11 месяцев назад

      I'm glad you found me @dannydavies2421 , I have about 150 miles in them and everything is still holding up well visually. I'm in the process of getting a new pair and doing an effort test to see how they are really holding up relative to a fresh pair, should be a fun video :) On a side note, my OG Prime X Strung are also holding up really well! The continental outsoles may be thin but they sure are durable! Be sure to watch our Feb videos, leave and leave a comment on each on to get entries into this months free giveaway!

    Would you recommend this as a race shoe to a 4-4:30 marathoner?

    • @TZCJames
      @TZCJames  Месяц назад +1

      Yes, I think there are efficiency benefits, regardless of pace that can be realized by running in the shoe. That being said, it does take some getting used to, and I would encourage anyone to put some miles into the shoe before running in it for a marathon to be sure that you are comfortable with it.

      Even more than the Adios Pro 3?, what are the differences between these shoes?

    • @TZCJames
      @TZCJames  Год назад +1

      @@franciscobellolio3472 the Pro 3 is a great shoe but this is much more responsive and cushioned. The Pro 3 also has energy rods where this shoe utilizes carbon plated (2 of them). The 3 layers of light strike pro foam are also a key difference.

    Hi! I have a question!
    Does the 2 carbon fiber plate doesn't wear off quicker than a single carbon plate?
    Is it useful for basketball? Like running around the basketball court? and hitting the jump shots using that bouncy cushion of the prime x 2? and does it make you run faster than others?
    Which one is better the alphafly 3 vs Adizero prime x 2 vs vaporfly 3?? *For race day*
    Is it also great when your wearing it for Playing Tag?

    • @TZCJames
      @TZCJames  8 месяцев назад

      I haven’t noticed a faster deterioration with the dual plate- shoes are still performing really well with >200 miles in them
