- CAT scale weight for my Dodge 5500 and Infinity GNW 500 empty.
I removed my fuel tank, removed unnecessary items from my tool box and moved my tool box forward.
My Dodge 5500
Steer GVWR is 7,250
Drive GVWR is 13,500
Trailer GVWR is 25,900

Is that on a full tank of fuel? What do your weights gotta be on each axle? It's 12k steer 34k Drive and 34k trailer axle on a semi. 🤔
Tank was 3/4. 7,250 Steer, 13,500 drive and 25,000 trailer. I’ve had 4 SUV’s and a car within limited except for drive was 560 over. I removed my secondary fuel tank (it had 60 gallons of fuel), i rarely used it.
How do you find the gvwr on the steer and drive of your truck i have a 01 f250 and im trying to figure those numbers out but im not sure where to look
It’s on your drivers door, it’s the GAVR amounts. It will say front ______ and rear _________.
@@riosautotransportllcoh so steer is front and drive is rear, thank you. On more question i looked on the infinity trailer website it says your trailer is 13000 pounds which means you have about 13000 left to fill with vehicles, is that enough without going over weight
Yes trailer is 13,000 once it’s connected to truck some of that weight goes on the truck. Trailer weight 10,160 connected to truck, leaving 15,750 for cargo. Once loaded some weight will also go on the truck. Empty the rear of the truck with trailer connected is 7,980 max can be 13,500. Allowing Additional 5,520 pounds on the drive (rear truck tires) 15,750 on trailer and 5,520 on truck for a total of 21,270 pounds of vehicles. Let me know if this is confusing.
