Another reason to take a non-stim preworkout supp. is because you're already getting the caffeine from your morning coffee or diet pills or whatever, and you don't want to double-dose on the caffiene so just drink the non-stim along with the coffee/diet pill.

For me it's forming the habit. Back in August I saw I gained 30lbss 195lbs to 230lbs I drank beer and had some bad eating habits that came back. But I looked 210lbs my doctor was shocked and weighed me 2x to be sure. Back in April or May I added a protein meal replacement shake that has 30g into my daily routine so I decided to lift weights and consume 175g of protein and 116g of fats with 130g of carbs. I've been working out daily for an hour and I feel weird/frustrated when I cannot go to the gym or ride my bike daily.
i just moved to LA from Bay Area and within the first week experienced horrible hamstring cramps hours after a tough workout. i took salt drank some milk stretched and they slowly went away. taught me that even a ~5 to 10 degree difference in temperature can dehydrate you. i now take a little pink himalayan salt before exercise here.

I remember like just over 10 years ago when 1.3 DMAA was the thing. The first pre workout i ever did was Muscle Marinade that had it and I was like a cracked out Racoon training on that sh*t. Went thru a phase where I need to take stim pre workouts just to train. These days I just have a cup of coffee. Honestly I prefer not training and having that cracked out feeling and crash. If I did use one I’d strictly go for a pump variety

I'm 50/50 on this.. sometimes it makes my workouts shit. Sometimes it makes my workouts super focused a fuck. I guess you can say it depends on strain/mood.. many different factors come into play
I would recommend the liquid IV over lmnt, haven’t tried lmnt but the sodium dosage in liquid IV is better when you’re trying to get rid of unnecessary sodium. Everybody body work different tho
I'm ADHD and I have bad circulation. Caffeine has to be at an insane dose to work on me but my body adjusts too quickly and caffine negatively affects my meds so I take a no stim pre workout but it also has 600% B12 and other vitamins that help with blood circulation. Sure my pre workout helps me get into the gym but I'm also using it to help with my deficiency in B12 and with circulation. Plus I like the flavour.

Sal, why would anyone (sans an endurance athlete) need 1000mg of sodium pre workout? Even if they don't eat junk food, these kids are probably in an air conditioned gym, texting on their phones, not even breaking a sweat. Yeah, keep doing that along with your caffeine drinks see what happens.
