Yes, 100% agree with you. I like the geometric look that they make on the wall but I cant look past them being back scratchers, kind of cheapens the room to me, but overall the room looks great.

I was also raised by my older sister, and doing arts and crafts with her are some of my fondest memories. She did her best to instill creativity in me from a young age. Now I'm grown and we're still close. ❤❤

It's really amazing how far Mr. Kate has grown over the years. Her budget designs are so so classy now. I loved her earlier work too, but it is on a whole other level now.

I would recommend to keep the receipt because Dollar Tree does not return or refund but you can exchange I am a worker there but they will not exchange or return if you do not have that receipt😊
The back scratcher wall is like the perfect example of "creative weirdo"...it was weird yes, but at the same time a really creative idea...and personally I actually loved it! If you're gonna decorate a whole room from only the dollar store you really need to think outside of the box...and of course Mr. Kate nailed it...looks so good! 👏🏼👍🏼

Loved your dyi projects, especially the "making" vs "complete", they turned out so well! Love the backscratcher installation, amazing how you could see a back scratcher for its elementals -- the wood and geometric shape, and know that because of that you can make something that will look mid-century modern. You are a fantastic designer.
