    Really good look at the bike but I’m missing the freehub soundcheck!

    You should get to know Radsport Ibert! Lasse Ibert (owner/founder) is a quite person full of innovative ideas, e.g. custom 3d printed aluminium arm rest.

    What are ceramic speed doing with the chains? I’ve applied UFO Drip to mine and it looks nothing like the frosted white coating like that. Are they just applying a whole bottle or something?

      No, the white thing is PTFE-Powder (like the "molten speedwax race powder", but the ceramicspeed-edition)
      It is a dry lubricant, that will only stick for a few (hundred-)kilometres and ptfe is also used in non-stick pans.
      If you want to buy it, you should care about the diameter, the smaller the diameter, the better (at least what i heard).
      I personally apply some ptfe directly into my paraffin wax, but the pros also apply it on the outside of the chain for the last 0.1% gain.
      Hope i could help you :)

      To add to that, it’s a chain you buy that way. They break it in, then treat it and sell it.

    Why do we see so many P5’s in pro triathlon and almost no P5X or PX?

    • @lucblain7957
      @lucblain7957 2 года назад

      Probably because it's not uci legal. So cannot be used as a TT bike during a uci event

      @@lucblain7957 there are people using the P5X in Kona, but it doesn’t seem as popular. Also people using other non legal bikes like the Ventum One or the Diamondback Andean.
      I’m surprised because the PX series is supposed to be the best piece of biking engineering out there.

      The P5D is a noticable amount lighter than the PX. Although the PX is suppose to have better aero especially with the storage integration, for pros of this level and especially at St. George a. the gain from weight loss makes a bigger difference compared to loss from aero and b. they don't need the full storage integration of the PX because just like on this bike they can just custom print storage solutions to match their needs with little to no aerodynamic penalty. Also the handling feel on the PX is incredibly bad, even compared to the P5D or other tri bikes.

      @@eugenelim4317 I use the P3X which is the same bike as the PX apart from folding handlebars. Never had an issue about handling, the only thing is the weight, but once you're on a rolling/flat course its not noticeable. The thing is a rocket once paired with a rear disc
