@@BeatTheBush Apparently there are new turbine designs suited for residential with much better efficiency numbers/less noise. But of course not available yet. The one I saw was the Liam F1
@@BeatTheBush sweet. these videos might not be going viral right now but i feel like no one does as much research/comparisons before making their videos, nor do they have the ee background to back it up.
hmm this video should have done much better. i am surprised. what about using one of those grid tie inverters with a limiter to avoid back feeding. the Y&H 1000w model on al le exp is only 260 bucks and seems like the best model to use if you dont have a power selling agreement.
I tend to get a bit to technical. You would have to sense the home usage and tie that info back into the grid-tie (via a limiter). A cheap grid tie like the Y&H doesn't have a limiter built in which would make integrating it extremely difficult.
No need to apologize for info overload... Helps in the understanding of the panel functions and dynamics. Next up: wind turbines??
Possibly in the future. I like those too. =D

BeatTheBush, the Science Guy :) love these videos!
Glad you are doing tech stuff ❤
More to come!

Now please make a video on the other equipment needed for say a 2kw system that's grid intertied. Keep up the great work!
That would be the ultimate goal. Except by the time that happens, it will be more like a 10kW / 20kWh+ system.
Can you do a video on solar trackers
I pass them off as unreliable but I could be wrong with more research.
Love these videos.
Glad you like them!
wow! cool video. i feel like mono crystal cells just disappeared
Weird how partial shading will produce no electricity with some panel designs.
Any single string will not produce current if one of the cells are blocked. Would be great if it they have bypass diodes for each cell.
interesting >_> @@BeatTheBush
Happy new year let's make more money

Wait what? Grown? How does it grow?! 😮
Silicon crystals grow in a molten silicon bath. Like how sugar crystals grow.
