Summiting Black Peak in under 12 hours

A little Backyard adventure, up to one of the peaks surrounding Glenorchy. My friend Daniel taught me how to properly use Crampons and Ice Axe for the first time.
This hike is accessible from the Mt.Judah Carpark and then can be started from either side of the McIntosh Loop Track. Before we reached McIntosh hut we continued our way on the North Side of the Ridge towards Black Peak.
The total time it took us was 11.5 hours.

So good. I did this climb on NYE 2020/21 but it looked pretty different. The river must have been freezing when you crossed!
