Pentatonic Pattern for High Speed Solos [Lesson]

- A few people were asking about the pattern in that solo, so here's a quick breakdown of these two sequences. They're very simple to play, but at higher speeds they sound really cool. I use these ALOT when i "shred" with a ton of other sequences as well. Try this out in other areas of the guitar, and try using it over a backing track as well.

I have been playing guitar for 25 years but am completely self taught. Literally LAST WEEK i took my first lesson ever and we started to talk about stuff like this and I was like "...oh my god this is so easy to understand when somebody actually explains it."

If you’re a drummer learning guitar, just know: The Pentatonic scale is basically the Paradiddle of the fretboard. It’s easy to master - apply and execute creatively.
