I like watching these nerdy suits talking about this kid. All they saw was a meal ticket.....talking about he needs to appreciate the opportunity haha, NO you need to appreciate the opportunity of having this kid at your school.
Hes probably gonna do the same jack harrison did, go to a d1 university, get drafted into the mls, play in a mls team, and go abroad, and rn jack harrison is in Leeds United

What the hell Gatorade picking athletes from $62K a year HIGH SCHOOLS. What is so special about a High School that charges $62k a year tution scouring the world to find top athletes.
He's more than likely on a scholarship since some schools are rich enough to financially support some of the students whose parents can't afford to pay the sticker price.
Sounds like you're jealous. $62k a year is chump change to a lot of people. Besides, he's probably on a scholarship and there are a certain allotment of spots open to disadvantaged kids etc... Whether he goes to a free public school or a top rated $1000000/yr school, doesn't negate his talent.
Happy for him, but US development of soccer players is a joke. Kids better off being recruited to an academy in South America, make a big name for himself and transfer to Europe.
