I just ordered The eclair soundbar after watching this video. My setup in the bedroom is a brand new Samsung the frame tv 2021 50 inch. I wasn’t satisfied with the sound from the tv speaker’s so I was looking for small but great soundbar / sub setup And I found the eclair brand new for 248 usd. Thanks for a great video that helped me decide.
I was drawn to this sound bar because of the low vibration sub woofer. It lived up to this, but... The centre speaker is just so weedy. There's no weight to voices and they sound very boxy. Not a pleasant listening experience. I expected a narrow soundstage, but not one that sounds like they are talking through a toilet roll tube.
Do you need a LG telly - Ive got a Samsung with ARC HDMI but no E-ARC. Another review said stay with the cinema setting is much better than Atmos so Im happy doing that.
Hi there, so for 4k 120hz gaming, LG éclair earc into earc on LG C1 TV and ps5/Xbox series X hdmi into TV hdmi? If yes any specific hdmi spec cable to use ?
@@Bro-tr2xq Hi, yes you want to connect the console to the TV with a high speed HDMI and then you need to connect the soundbar to the TV either with another highspeed HDMI to the eARC port on the TV or from the Optical audio out port on the soundbar to the optical audio out port on the TV with an optical cable 👍Hope that makes sense!
That's not 2x HDMI's it's an input and output this is a big mistake that could be a problem. Two inputs could be game console and streaming box then one out to TV. But you saying it's 2 HDMI's which is not the case. Read a book sub soofffer girl.

If i connect this to the eARC on theLG C1, will it support gaming on 120Hz connected to the other HDMI 2.1 ports?
can I use the Bluetooth function to connect to other devices and use this soundbar as a speaker for say my phone or tablet or disc players?

I actually prefer no display as I can’t get mine to stop showing ARC which is very distracting.

No, this soundbar works fine with any brand. You just get certain connectivity perks in some soundbars that match the brand of the TV.

How do I see if the soundbar plays in Dolby Atmos? The TV (LG C1) reports only "Dolby vision" when the audio is played from the Qp5. Thanks
When you use the app it will say if it’s playing Dolby Atmos content

Hi, you'd want to use a high speed 2.1 HDMI for both but with the sound bar you can also use the optical cable for even better quality!

I think Polk Mini win.
Polk mini 1st gen doesn’t support Dolby Atmos, have EARC, or an additional hdmi port. Maybe the 2nd generation is it’s competitor.
