Caterham Academy 2024 Race 7 - Brands Hatch Indy

What a CRAZY race!
After a terrible quali, I was in 10th position on the grid.
Start 1 - Smoked the tyres on the start line, got traction and finally got off the line. There was calamity in Druids and to dodge getting hit, I had to bail into the gravel. Luckily, i was able to get out of the gravel and back on the track and now down to last place. Safety car out and then red flagged signaling a race restart!
Start 2 - Had a much better start. Went from 10th to 5th. Fought up to 3rd. Held 3rd for a few laps and lost it on T5. Dropped back to 6th. Got back to 4th. Safety car out again. Green flag chaos caused by back marker but got back to 3rd before the next red flag. Race over and thought i was 3rd until i was informed the position reverted to the time of the SC so ended up in 4th! story of my season! Great race with Aaron Oliver. Best race from me of the season so far.
