Caron yarn has never disappointed me. Thanks for the review, I am going to have to give the bamboo blend a try.
But I do have to admit, sitting here in the Deep South where it is already 90 degrees F (& humidity is creeping up) I have to chuckle every time you say "summer shawl" or "summer anything" made from yarn that is not 100% cotton or rayon/cotton blend.
That's totally fair because where I'm at it's basically sweater season every season😅 I would love to recreate this with 100% cotton too
Ooh! That shrug turned out super cute!!! And now it's got me thinking of making something similar, maybe even a full on cardigan (which might be a closer to fall project for me since I already have 7 ish wips I'm in the middle of) using a yarn that's actually black and that glow in the dark yarn for the ghosts, or, the idea just popped into my head as I was writing this comment, doing like a moon and stars and kind of creating like a night sky or something
All of these ideas would be killer but especially the night sky cardigan. With the glow in the dark yarn, are you kidding?! That would be killer🎃

It's crazy how soft just the little bit of bamboo makes the yarn. Totally worth checking it out in person🎃

The drape on that yarn 🥰 Love all the information you shared, especially the washing / drying and how well it held up. Really liking the Wisteria and Dahlia colors (I LOVE 💜PURPLE 💜).

They’d be cute on so many things; blankets, bags, hats, scarves, sweaters, etc. I have found Caron to be one of my all time favorite yarn brands. Their skeins are always big and they have so many fun colors and textures. I definitely wanna try this bamboo blend one, especially because I want more drape and soft movement in my pieces. 🖤
No tutorial at the moment but something I freestyled. If you're looking for movement this is the yarn to try out! Such a fun piece for the whole year🎃

I love the shrug soooo much. I dont normally wear halloween year round but I probably would wear this lol! (Im more of a christmas year round person)

have you ever tried felting your ends together?? it saves you from weaving in ends and you can't even tell where one yarn ends and another begins

Today I discovered that the socks I was knitting were two sizes too small for my kid… i got all the way to knitting the foot when I realized that. 😩 so I decided to take a break and make a granny square cardigan for the first time. 😅
