Like actually here in Maharashtra (state in India) kids are having so much knowledge and are exploring things online and starting to make some bucks from 7th to 8th grade like they are just 12-13 years old, so its not like Indian kids aren't aware of the opportunities and aren't aware of the variety of fields out there. 🙃
How are you enjoying such life? Half of your life went like this. Always studying studying and studying and one day even if you become CA. After that also life is too hard. Hope is a good thing, maybe the best of things, and no good thing ever dies.” - Andy Dufresne, Shawshank Redemption.
I gave my medical entrance this year the second time and it did not go well. So instead of dropping out again , i decided to explore my options but i do hear some of my relatives convincing me to just keep working for the same even tho i don't want to. The problem is for years, Indians have prioritized certain career options like Engineers, Doctors, CAs and expect their children to choose (or not even) among them. While other careers are disregarded in the name of not having scope.
some of the places in India fr lack education but not every single place ... you see that's the same with every country except Finland .. though Indian education system and yk criteria is kinda more difficult to pass through! (the Hindu University of Delhi requires 98% results to get into the university and if you've below it you can just get the hell out) this needs to change somehow
okay, so Jaby I understand your concern... let me tell you something, in my 12th boards result I secure 496 out of 500. I wasn't like a national topper or something but with these marks, I can study at India's best college. But still, at that time I was stressed too cause in my dream college St. Stephen's you have to clear an interview round also which was not at other colleges in Delhi Uni. Also when you enter college the environment is completely different and also many soc and events groom the student in such a way that it is really unimaginable. Most of my school friends told me that I have really changed after college and become more outgoing and found new hobbies. One of them is watching your channel 😅
Yeah I understand I worked hard for 2 yrs to clear NEET yet couldn't make it to a govt college and private mbbs degrees are way to expensive to afford so I discussed with my parents to get into private bds which is affordable and personally I find that interesting too yet relatives are like it's bds he will become a dentist no matter how good/bad and there is no scope for dentist in India the only scope is mbbs 😢😢 so it's the society which is structured this way that kids with certain should follow a certain path only but with our generation it's changing for us it's not only about getting that one govt seat/job it's more like finding your subject intrest and choosing from a variety of career opt from it because we can't keep blaming the govt for giving jobs because that's bery hard in such a big population we have create business that create jobs
16:00 just to give a rough idea, private colleges are expensive so people aim for govt. colleges. For engineering exam (competitive exam for students across India, not the normal state exam), roughly 1-2 million students give the exam out of which 250k get selected for the next round, and around 15-25k students get to go in good colleges.
so basically jaby there are two types of bank's in india private and government in both banks with can deposit money and credit it from which ever state branch we want to but t&c of government and private banks are different in government we can start our account in deposit of something around 12 dollars but in private banks we have to deposit 125 dollars hope you understand 😊 13:13

In India, there are some of the largest government banks including State Bank of India, Punjab National Bank, Bank of Baroda, Canara Bank, Central Bank of India, Bank of India, etc. State Bank of India is currently the largest bank in the country. Govt acquired SBI from RBI in 1955. So it wasn't a private bank which was nationalized. Nationalized banks are the ones which were private banks but were taken over by the govt during nationalization in 1969 and 1980. The State Bank of India (SBI) is a public sector bank, and the government owns around 57.59% of the bank's shares. p.s. - I just copy pasted the stuff I got from Google.

16:32 true. Its not like there is a lack of variety of jobs in India. People just choose not to opt for them because its risky. They'd rather join the rat race and get into a mainstream field because everyone wants a guaranteed, steady income. I thought that India was finally opening up to new carriers but the overwhelming majority still opts for the mainstream science or commerce. which is ironic because theres actually a shortage of doctors here. while we're on the subject, there are so many indian channels on youtube. but only a handful manage to take off like Slayy Point or Carryminati did. Same for the other options. A lot of interesting fields are actually unheard of because hardly any people wanted to join them.
well there are Lakhs of student trying to get into a med school by giving NEET exam , becoming a Doctor is a mainstream choice , but the irony is there aren't enough seats in medical colleges & were u really not aware being a doctor is a mainstream option in India ?

We have lots of National banks like HDFC Bank , Axis Bank, ICICI Bank, Bank of Baroda, state bank of india, and many more 😂

no its definitely not about chasing perfection, its just that, asian parents do not show too much love to their kids, its their way of parenting. although the kids know that their parents are proud of them and they love them.
These type of parents are very cruel they should never exist
"It was in the back of my mind that he can do better"
He is just saying that he was expecting that he can do better (maybe he wants to say that " I had no idea that he can do this better)
Why you are not reacting on "the Kerala story" it's been more than a week lot of people commenting
*17:45** Achara Kirk being a true asian for 5 secs*
If you are average student at but you are good at other creative things then you are not good son or daughter for your parents because they can't show you in society. ( Because society favours top students in India)

You guys saw that from Tanmay's reaction video
What other jobs do you know other than the mainstream ones?
Haan bhai bilkul sahi keh rahe ho mein company secretary ke 3 year mein ho lekin meri Umar ke bacho ko ye bhi nahi pata ki CA or CS ke sirf exams clear karne hote hai. Log mujhse aake puchte hai ki konse college se cs kar raha hai or mein Delhi mein rahta hoon yahan Aisa haal hai😂. Puri india mein sirf 67000 cs hai isse hi pata chalta hai ki 145 crore logo mein koi cs karne nahi jata sab CA karte hai kyunki voh famous hai or CS,CFA jaise course koi karta hi nahi hai😂
@@jatinnegi1149 Koi batata hi nahi hai bhai. College mein saale teachers aise cheezon ke baare mein kuch info hi nahi dete bas portion khatam karne mein lage rente hai.

India do have National Banks. I went to bank only once when I opened my account. Everything happens online now. Also we have UPI, pay anywhere with mobile within 5-10 seconds.
