Great video, David. Not being able to send files from outside the organization in Microsoft forms has been a pain. I like to initiate the form from within Excel so that I know exactly where the answers spreadsheet is located in my sharepoint.
Thanks Celia! Yes they advertise it has free but you can’t collaborate, with the personal forms… that’s a good idea to initiate from excel yeah, google just lets you choose the spreadsheet output which is much better & download as a csv whenever you like. I also get annoyed when someone shares a form with me & I can’t access the results as the spreadsheet isn’t available. Microsoft’s branching & ranking questions are great though!
Thanks David, very interesting. One question: if you want to analyze a question with multiple answers in Excel, you get all different answer combinations in one column. I had this issue to divide all possible answers in a separate column, this was done with a few tricks with Power Query. Do you know a trick to do this easy or have a video you know? Thanks.
Hiya yes… analysing multi select isn’t easy in excel & use of power query/power pivot is required, I have two videos which should help here: Try these videos on my channel: Clean survey data with Excel's Power Query ruclips.net/video/A85t3b5Zn5Q/видео.html & Analyse Excel survey ratings with Power Query, Power Pivot & slicers ruclips.net/video/3ffJzC5AR2Q/видео.html
Hello, if you have a business account then you should be able to but you have to navigate to the m365 group within the Microsoft forms homepage first, scroll down to the bottom of the page & you should see your groups

If I have a form, and different people fill it out every 3 months, is there a way to see the evolution of each participant in time?
Good question! This is possible with analysis on the connected spreadsheet. I have another video on analysing survey data which you may find useful
@@learnspreadsheets could you direct me to the video?
fantastic!
Glad you liked it!
