- Simplified Beef Mami (Filipino ramen)
Ingredients:
Fresh ramen noodles
0.5lbs stewing beef cut in cubes
1 onion
1 tsp whole black pepper
Beef bouillon
Napa cabbage slice thinly
Fried garlic
Method:
1. In a medium pan, brown the cubes of beef on all sides.
2. In an instant pot or pressure cooker, add the onion, black pepper, beef bouillon and beef bouillon.
3. Cover with water and pressure cook for 20 mins.
4. Fry garlic slices until golden. Remove from oil and set aside
5. Once beef is tender strain broth into a clean pot along with beef cubes, season with fish sauce.
6. Once ready to serve heat broth and add Napa cabbage.
7. Cook the noodles to package instructions and add to a ramen bowl.
8. Pour over broth with chunks of beef and Napa cabbage.
9. Add garlic pieces and drizzle garlic oil as well.
10. Garnish with green onion and enjoy
