Yeah! I would say they based the countries off of real ones, like... Sanbreque = France/Western Europe, Dhalmekian Republic = India/Central Asia, Rosaria = Italy/Southern Europe, Waloed = Norway/Iceland, Crystalline Dominion = Venice?? (dont know lol), Iron Kingdom = ??? (I really have no idea). At least that's what i perceived but im probably off in some of them 💀
The area where this plays, it’s like green fields with thick forests on the horizon Doesn’t that remind anyone of the field backgrounds of a classic FF battle sequence?

This is my actual ring tone for the last several months. FF16's soundtrack is one of the best osts, period. So many memorable tracks and each one inspires some form of nostalgia. Takes me back to when I first played 16. It's not a perfect game but when it hits, it HITS unlike any other.
This feels very much in the vein of some of the other compositions we've heard in FFXIV, like And Love You Shall Find (Terncliff theme) and Where Daemons Abide (Pandaemonium gates theme).
The music in this final fantasy really had something special about it. While final fantasy 7 and so forth had massive orchestras and presence, this in comparison was really low key and felt more like chamber music with a small group of musicians in a room putting some emotional music together. It kind of added to the loneliness of being Clive and sharing his adventure…

What an incredible song. Chills every time I hear it. Going into the game I wasn’t hyped at all from the trailers and the character designs, the world just didn’t draw me in but I finished it a week ago and it was an incredible journey. There’s a lot of areas where I wash it could’ve been better and I do prefer FFXV but I still really really enjoyed it. The combat especially is absolutely AMAZING, it reminded me of the combat variety in kh2 and how I felt when I played it.
I didn’t watch the trailers I just went in and omfg is it one of my favorite games ever. I still remember the side characters even a whole month later, like Dorys. I miss this game everyday. And this sound track had walking around the world like I was in it myself. I LOVED THIS GAME.
I really like the cinematic other version of Sanbreques Theme. I think it plays when you see that cutscene of the emperor dissing those other politicians or whatever they were

@@SergioKunGoodfellaNier Automata was my game of the generation last gen even over God of War, FF7R, and Horizon Zero Dawn. The Nier games are a roller coaster of emotions with 🔥 ost's. You have to be mentally tough. Reminder Nier Automata doesn't truly start till the 3rd play through then all hell brakes lose.
Same I don’t understand why some many FF fans don’t want to play FFXVI I’m a huge FF fan and yeah they did make changes but imo it still had that final fantasy feeling we all know and love and man this story for FFXVI is amazing!!

Is the woodwind at 0:25 being played sharp? It always sounded a bit off to me but after hearing it on loop my brain has settled on "ah, microtonal, thanks Soken." Not sure if perhaps I'm just going insane.
I'm loving this game ❤ Super glad it exists even if it didnt live up to Square Enix's unrealistic expectations of financially fixing their f*ckups with Avengers and Forspoken. FF16 shouldnt have to bear that weight. It shouldve just been judged on its own merits. And shouldve been third party to reach more people as well. If Square needed Sony's funding to make a decent game then its time Square to wake tf up and start putting this level of time, effort and money on all its projects. Not just the ones backed by outside sources.

I like that the lyrics were in english instead of latin...so everyone can understand it and it adds to the narrative
