That's FF for ya. An incredible journey that leaves you cherishing all the memories from the experience. When you reflect on it 60-80 hours later you remember all the good times. The really good ones always have this nostalgic feel. And the music is by far the leading factor
I'm still listening to the 13 soundtrack haha, FF games are just something else. I've always said Square Enix make a soundtrack and throw the game in for free
I agree wholeheartedly - even though the game wasn’t perfect to me, I’m already itching to play again (once I beat Rebirth) just so I can hear these melodies once more. I’m not a hardcore gamer so it takes me a few months to play through a FF game, but I feel like that makes hearing the music that much more special; it’s with you for a significant chapter of your life
This playlist is really great..I'm so glad I found it!! I work at a rather chill sewing machine shop and my manager lets me have this on loop at my terminal. Keeps me from going insane from the quietness 😅 This video deserves a ton more love! ❤
I just finished the game (I cried at the end and that's not at all common for me) and I saw a lot of people criticizing the game's soundtrack saying it wasn't memorable . I disagree so much, I don't necessarily know the names of the music but it often happened to me that I just said "wow ok this music is clearly superb!" The game isn't perfect, but its story is truly compelling.
Forevermore is such an immediately iconic song. Up there amongst Besaid Island, Wandering, Eruyt Village, Eternity Memories of Lightwaves, Aerith's Theme, Tifa's Theme, Descendants of a Shinobi, Breezy, etc. etc. I love Final Fantasy OSTs so much!

Thank you so much for this! FFXVI has touched my heart so deeply... I love the music... the battle system... the characters... the story... and especially Clive 😂🥹
That's debatable, Final Fantasy has always delivered memorable music, notorious and among the finest in video game history. I love FF6, FF7, FF8, FFXII and FFXVI soundtracks above all.
It really isn't... But it's not bad at all. Lot of great tracks here and there. My personal favorites, however, are FFX's, VIII and VII. IX's is incredible too.
@@theherooffire007 XIII had some beautiful music too, in particular "The Promise" and "Sunleth Waterscape." Say what you like about the story and gameplay of XIII, the music was top-notch.
Haven't played Rebirth yet, but I played FF7 Remake and I think I would agree with you, the issue with the new FF7 is that you can't only play one, they are not stand alone but FF16 is, on another hand, a good game with a complete lore. The only issue so far for FF16 (haven't finished it yet), is that the plot is bad so far, I would have like to see battles between 3 countries like republic against dominion against empire with many primordials ... Anyway I think FF16 is good but it could have been impressive.
I can't wait for PC release. The only game I am anticipating after everything just went dogpop in the industry. The west has fallen, only Japanese devs have competent devs and storytellers left. Boy do I miss the times and soundtracks of Jeremy Soule... Soken is such a hit or miss.
People give the game a LOT of shit, and I'm not saying you should play it necessarily, but I really think you should check out Genshin Impact's music-- there is a ridiculous amount of it already, considering the game's size, but all of it is just incredible. You will love it
I don't know how a game that only came out last year can cause me to have this much nostalgia from hearing the OST. I love it so much

The soundtrack so good it made the game feel a lot better than it really was. Spoken is just that guy
because it's good. It's less nostalgia and more of "holy fuck this is so good"
Lovely Dark and Deep has to be my absolute favorite
I think you might be right. It is so good. But there are lots of good ones to choose from here.

Brings back good memories :)
BEST Final Fantasy OST ever!!👏👏👏

You should listen to the FFXIV soundtrack (Same guy that does FFXVI), LOTS of variety in the music. Masayoshi Soken is a musical genius
I like ff xv ost the most , coincidentally its me and my daughter’s favorite final fantasy too .

Into the Mire will always be special for me
This was my fort theme on orchestrion all game.
indomitable just hits different towards the end !! Unreal
Rainy day at the office forecasted for tomorrow, so this will go nicely with my shift! Thank you!!
The Eikon boss theme and No Risk No Reward are still so frickin good
The accompanying video footage is amazing, beautiful shots of the scenery.
Listening to this makes me wish that I had a PS5 or PC to play it *sigh*, at least I got to enjoy this video. Great stuff!
Say what you will about the various points of contention some have with this game, IT WAS ONE HELL OF AN ADVENTURE!
best ff16 soundtrack on RUclips in this video
Thank you for the music man! I needed this.
Safe to say Soken and his team cooked hard as hell yet again
The best music since FFX for me ❤
Great playlist, love it!
Я прошел игру еще только на 48% но какой же в игре крутой саундтрек ❤
Thank you for that!
Bzw. Dankeschön dafür :)
Unpopular opinion FF16 > FF7 Rebirth. Fight me 😂
Glad someone said it *fistbump*

XVI and IX, best FFs
Really good
I like 17:04 Forevermore
Me too. Stokes so much nostalgia.
34:20 Be careful, Mario! Don't wake the piranha plant!
Wish they would put this on streaming already
FF7 remake gets stuck in my head often
Any of you guys who play FFXIV... do the FFXVI event and then hit the Gold Saucer! You can find orchestrions of these songs there! ^_^
i heard all final fantasy soundtracks. they are all good, but nothing beats the kingdom hearts tracks.
Dark fantasy Music
Great playlist but the mixing is a bit off :/
