I didn’t crochet for over 1,5 years and after my best friend send me a reel with those crochet leaf sprouts on some headphones I decided to make them as a birthday present for him.
The video was so helpful and I think I will start to crochet way more often again now - so thank very much, the video was great and very good to understand even though English isn’t my native language

Thank you so much for your leaf sprout pattern. I have looked at loads of different ones and yours is by far the best of the bunch. I taught myself to crochet over 50 years ago. I have never even heard of the surface crochet slip stitch. It creates a very neat finish to the centre of the leaf and is surprisingly simple to do. So you are never too old to learn new things! 😊

I had been wanting to do this sprout accessory but could not find a knitted version anywhere, so I just went ahead fully blank and without a single morcel of knowledge in crochet and I must say, your tutorial was really clear and easy to undersrand. It took some attempts (+frogging 🤧) and I defs made a few mistakes here and there, but by the 2nd time I had done it, it went by a lot faster. The end product is so cute and I'm so glad I took a chance on this.
    Thanks a lot again! ❤
