I thought the same thing too cause I started listening to x-raided back in 2002 when I was in high school and I had a homie who was bumping him heavy and he told me a little about his story of the conviction but I didn't know how long he was locked up for until I heard it from x himself watching his interviews.
We the same age. Never heard of him on the East Coast, but when I saw his story back in 92 the story moved me. Never met bro but I was always worried about him and wondering how he was holding up as I went through my milestones in life. Glad to see him home
