Great job again
Great video buddy
Thank-you!
I noticed the fitting of the batten at the end of the video.... surely that can only be fitted if your walls are square?
Thanks again.`
Hi did you have to leave a 30mm gap between your 2 tower units or did you just screw the 2 together thanks
Very informative and helpful tips thank you. Could you please tell me what are the dimension of the blind corner box and the post width please.
Just done this myself thanks for showing this 👍
Thanks 👍🏻
How would you install the wall cupboard equivalent? To disguise the gap from underneath?
Hi Thanks for making the video, very useful content. Im a self employed kitchen fitter in London and looking for extra work, where and what would you recommend me to do? Thanks in advance
Hi tanx for the upload that dewalt drill comes with a impact drill wouldn't you use the impact for screwing in screws saving time changing the drill bit?
E K I find the impact drill is sometimes too powerful for delicate stuff and too noisy as well. The impact drill is great for first fix carpentry though
@@ernestdeak8402 invest in the 887 impact with the 3 settings, 1st setting perfect for delicate screwing
can you tell how we can put an end panel for the washing machine after that corner unit ?
Nooice!
thanks for this, that's a 1000 corner unit from Magnet. There's no specific step in the assembly guide for fitting the corner post, and you have to use your judgement.
Hi , may I ask you what spec were those long screws you used at 8 min - to fix with the block of wood? thanks
Is this how a professional kitchen fitter would do a corner post with angle brackets or would it be done differently.
🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
I notice that the hinges clip on what kind are the please?
You can screw a piece of chip or end panel behind the corner piece to let you screw from the sink cupboard side. I prefer to screw a piece from bottom of cupboard to top the same width as the corner piece space. I means you can screw to keep the cupboard plumb and prevent movement from plumb. I would also fix the cupboard in position and be level with the top before joining the corner piece spacers.
Just wondering why is the corner post set lower than the doors
In video that is because doors not adjusted yet (final step but I did on fixing CP) as you can clearly see right (hinge) side of door (on left cupboard) has to drop to be level.
Fix a 2x1 to the back your corner post and you can fix through the sink unit into the corner base
Hi I have a good kitchen but my corner post is cracked and I’d like to replace it. I don’t know the manufacturer of my kitchen as it was already there when I moved in. How do I go about getting a new one ?
Either to take it of and use as the example say at bnq or Howdens(or ebay, sometime installers are selling leftovers) to get same size and shape or take 2 filling panels and make your own but you might need some DIY skills to cut nicely and neatly
Why would you fit the door at this point !!! I don’t unpack my doors until the laminate worktops are installed.
To fit that corner post I would measure the aperture where the door will eventually go, so that being whatever size door will be fitted, let’s say 500mm for arguments sake, then that is the mark where the corner post would be fitted to.
Sometimes it's easier just to put it on and visually make sure it all fits correctly
Haha that's hilarious, its one thing fitting it wrong but actually doing a RUclips video about it 🤣
Painful to watch 🙈😂🙈😂
Why don't you say something constructive like what is wrong & how to correct it, rather than being a negative smartass!?
Explain then
don't blame him, blame Magnet, this corner post isn't detailed in the assembly guide.
Ok genius what's wrong
Am I missing something? This isn't a corner cabinet? This looks like 2 seperate cabinets
That's how the majority of kitchens work.
Ok but the corner post is a bit low.
Corner post is fitted wrong way
