I think this would had been fitting as a pre-title sequence of Season 2 Episode 1. And then follows up several months later where we see the beginning of the episode.
Zero goes away during the Black Rebellion and they fail. Zero gets betrayed by the Black Knights, they become Schneizel's bitch, and Emperor Lelouch wrecks house during the final battle of the series. The Black Knights are nothing without Lelouch.
I’ve always wondered why was it so traumatizing for Kallen knowing Lelouch is Zero I mean Kirihara told her that he wasn’t Japanese but I just never understood that.
Kallen was present when Suzuka discusses Zero/Lelouch's Geass ability (and how it was behind Princess Euphemia's massacre), she has almost the complete opposite opinion on Lelouch compared to Zero, and of course, there's the whole "Zero has been a Britannian and he's been ordering Japanese to fight and die for him" which is definitely not a good look. Basically, these facts strike at the core of who Kallen thought Zero was. Add this to the fact that Kallen loves and idolizes Zero, and Kallen starts spiralling in doubt and betrayal with all these new revelations. It's a very emotional reaction, which makes sense for her character.
Yep. Only a handful or less though. So that's why I upload those parts here so people don't waste their time watching an almost three hour long recap movie for only maybe two minutes of new content per recap movie.
Yeah, I don't see the appeal. She's your generic badass anime girl with more fanservice moments (over half the ecchi in the show hers) than character. There's like a 100 girls in this show and the only one I can agree might be worse is Nina. And the worst part is she has lots of screentime for whats basically a glorified background character.
@@thecasul1524 Disagree completely as a student of literature. Kallen is a very realistic and well written character and an almost perfect love interest for Lelouch. She isn't badass, she's a teenaged girl with an identity crisis who knows that she's weak, vulnerable, and in love. She happens to be loyal and a skilled pilot with ambition, which is how she gets close to lelouch. She's flawed and immature and has a fit every time he turns her down. The show is also trying to be a mech anime so she has to do that. They never try to portray her as badass. My only problems are her outfit designs, and the way she was written in season 2. But ultimately, she offers herself to Lelouch and understands he can't have her. Maybe if she was clever enough to see his plan. Maybe if the Euphemia thing didn't happen.
@@Masckerdoom Well, your not wrong. Counterpoint: R2 happened and throwed her characterization out of the window. I can understand why people like her in R1, as she's an actual character with an arc and major development through the story, but R2 onwards butchered her so badly that I can't for the life of me take her seriously.
@@thecasul1524 Yes, agreed. They retired her too early and I believe Kallen honestly would have stayed with Lelouch. That would gave the ending much more stakes and intrigue Like, "You have to live, Kallen" What girl hears that and doesn't jump into his arms

I mean you ain’t wrong about most of them, at least in the original series
True, Kallen would'nt have survived long enough to reach her full potential without Zero taking center stage.
Ohgi and the Black Knights?
More like Oggy and the Cockroaches.
@@1zeisele 🤣 bro don’t you think that is a little too much? I mean I get it but still….
Some of the black knights were loyal, even when they learn his identity, though they died saving him.
kaguya crying her eye out like is kinda sad. whoever animated the face really went ham
