Can I just say that, you’re straight up amazing- putting aside rocket league, I’m talking about how you talk to your audience and the time and effort you put into this video to get your point across to believe in every single one of us. Mid way in the video I kinda distant you from what you were saying- of course I was listening but I just kinda went out of context of the video, and then it hit me from what you were talking about and how you were saying it. It’s amazing, it sounded like me and you were in a call or that you were sitting in front of me explaining everything to me. Even tho you had an audience to be speaking too, just then and there I realized like wow you’re really trying to break everything down and deliver to your fans. So I just want to say you’re amazing and just thank you for what you’re doing here for me and for the tons of people you inspire each and every day; I love you man, keep up the great work and don’t ever stop!

When you talked about darkfire, I felt so sad because he died a few days before RLCS Season 6 when C9 won which included his old teammates, Torment and Squishy :(
Pixel RL watch the video most specifically around the half way mark I think or around 17 minutes. He was apparently very very good and fun to watch and very good for the short amount of time the game has been out. He was their old teammates too and died a little before they won RLCS season 6 :(

If you aren’t happy with your rank, like plat 3 or diamond 2. There is always someone out there who wishes they could be as high rank as you. Never feel bad about your rank and stay positive.
Cater in diamond 3 with 10 days played. Could be champ but constantly paired with teammates unwilling to rotate, or pass
@@KieranFitzs been d3 in 2's and 3's for months and that's what always happens the last couple of promotion games. I usually end up going back and forth between d1 and d3. Find a good teammate mate.
Ive been in champ 2 for 3 seasons now and i just cant move. Its really kills my motivation
Even though I am not that high ranked (Plat 3), this game tells you that you definitely have to find some teammates if you want to rank up. I have the same with all of the people above and you just can't do anything about it.

i feel ya squishymuffins... i spent half a year playing all star bots and free play teaching myself aerials and ball carrying when i had no internet to keep my play style and car control to it's peak. i'm happy i got internet again.. i've played since the game was free on ps4. switch to mouse/keyboard for over a year, became only plat 1. switched to controller and 43 hours later i'm already almost diamond. i've put 2k hours in on this account alone and have 2 others i've had in the past including my step brothers which he didn't play the game and found it boring hitting the ball around for 5-8 hours a day... but someday i will become a pro gamer and i keep this mindset through all the ups and downs, toxic players, toxic players throwing the moment the clock hits 4:58 off a kickoff goal in 2's... you've been my inspiration to pull through as a high level gamer from other backgrounds of gaming (first person shooters in general) to rocket league back in the year 2015. slow progression but this all comes in the next 3k hours to come. appreciate the video and sharing it to friends in person to learn that the unthinkable can happen and impossible possibilities are possible no matter how much we fail. and i've learned just that. You're the most well rounded 2/3's player apart from fairy being the 1's champion (predicted and set in stone he wins the guantlet)

Amazing mate! Also it's really good to see I'm not the only crazy man trying to catch up pro players! I've just "recently" started RL and I've just fell in love with the game, like seriously, I feel you when you say "someday i will become a pro gamer", putting so many time in training (and enjoying it!) and hoping like maybe in a year or two I'll be good enough, but I'm confident as I learn the game really fast :). The grind is real though and no pro player became pro without dedication and true commitment. Also I believe that for such a dream, you just can't listen to your family or your friends, that will just tell you that you "can't make it" because they don't get it. DO IT! Good luck on your journey and maybe we'll just play together/against someday ;)

Playing Rocket League has been a huge challenge because the nerve endings in my hands/fingers are deteriorating, but it's so much fun. Watching your vid gives me hope I'll get better. I've played so many matches and I keep forgetting that before I couldn't even accelerate in the direction of the ball when I first started lol! Over a hundred hours later I sometimes make a goal or clear a shot. Thanks for this and for your hard work

btw those wondering about the ESL titles Squishy is on about, the ESL is still fairly big in Europe, idk about NA. Yes it wont have RLCS teams such as F3 or Vitality in them,
but i've come across RLRS players or previous ESL monthly players in them and are still very hard to get the titles in, however its alot easier nowadays then back then for sure.

Squishy, Thank you so much for making videos, you have been my inspiration to play Rocket League for so long. In a few days I’m going to hit my 1 year in Rocket League and I’m in Diamond 2 thanks to the tips and many videos that I watched and it really helps me get things down after I watch you. I’m on PS4 and I’ve been on all day every day throughout 2018. I’ve been trying so hard to get a team for Rocket League E-Sports, I was in my Highschools Esport team as the Captain but we never got in any matches or tournaments bc times for the matches were weird so I have never been able to get in any tournaments. I want to try to start in the E-Sport scene but I don’t think I’m good enough at all. Other than that I’ve been grinding free play up to 3 hours a day since August (when I first hit Diamond) and I feel like I’m missing something. I try to find champion or higher teammates but no one wants to play with a Diamond 2 if they are champ 1. I don’t know if you have any advice but it’d be amazing if you commented and added some help! Tysm for being my inspiration to play and my determination to vs you one day in a GC match and beat you hahaha.

What I’ve found works so well apart from grinding is really just watching high skill players play the game. You can learn just as well watching something and thinking about doing it as doing it! Anyone else make this experience?
I think this was a very inspiring story. It really makes me want to improve. Even though I'm only platinum 1, I feel like my maximum capacity is champ 2 or so. This was also a very good story because I never really knew anything about you, but now I feel like I know who you are.
Just keep grinding. I felt the same way back in platinum 3 (Early 2018) and today I finally hit champ 1 to get my champ reward fot this season. Never felt happier about achieving something in a game.

Yup, I was stuck in Diamond for a while, finally got up to Champ 1 a couple weeks ago.
You’re wrong. Your ‘maximum capacity’ is as big as you want to make it. There is no cap. And you shouldn’t say things like that because it limits what you’re actually capable of. The thing is, anyone can hit GC as long as they work long and hard for it. Even you can hit GC. I’m sure you know that though. Try not to set limits on things that can’t be limited. It makes you not see the whole picture. Now if you hit C2 you’re gonna think you’ve peaked, when in reality you can keep pushing for the higher ranks.

I haven't watched the video, but the reality is, at this point, you have to be a GC that's consistently dominating top 100, committing all your time, playing alongside pros and getting their attention, and streaming/creating content. Those are the biggest things if you want to go pro in this game.
Ranked doesn't really mean that much, especially since most of the pros dont even take it seriously, you have to do far more than just play ranked and make content.
After hitting GC recently I realized how big of a gap there really is between a normal GC and these pros. You aren't wrong about top 100

I have like almost 2k hours on training and 1k something online but I am not really a competitive player, but I am mechanically skilled, the one thing that's missing tho is a gaming pc that's all I need from there I can start my competitive career or maybe not idk lol. you cant teach competitiveness on the pro level. Or in general, if you really lack it. Odd setup you have. You have to be 12 to 14.

CorruptedGanja take my advice dude. You 15 right? Am 26 and I made many mistakes sense I was 15 that I wish I didn’t and I wish I started differently. First of all unless you going into the medical field, don’t go to college for anything. Spend every second of free time getting good at rocket league and a start a twitch channel. Also if that doesn’t bring you the money you want. Don’t go to school!! Get a good job without a diploma, there plenty. Live with your parents! Don’t move out and SAVE SAVE SAVE. When your 18 get into stocks and learning how to invest and trade. Keep saving money this whole time. Also don’t have kids and don’t fall in love!! There’s plenty of pussy waiting for you when you getting the money. Follow these steps and you will be a millionaire by 30. Good luck 👍🍀

I got your settings, I got 1500 hours in and plat II I was.
Now with your settings, since an hour, I hit much more airials and win much more 50/50s and dribbling is a little better too.
Now to grind to Diamond and see what I can learn there!!
I take little step by little step and when I hit my goal(s): With keyboard to get Champ rewards & just to have a lot of fun I will be truely satisfied.
